I also do not like that it is not possible to move through enemy cities when having a pact.

BUG: I found ancient ruins and I did not want to enter them, now I am asked every turn if I want to enter them although nobody is standing on them. When I return to enter (Varda, some statues...) the game crashes.
I like the fresh scenario, MoM returns slowly... The design-polish is great. Sadly I think I miss sth. : Strategy. The game makes fun, to see your cities grow and leveling your heroes. But I miss challenging aims, things that need long-time planing, combats that can be won by finesse, creative preparation that is rewarded. I have the feeling that I am successfull by playing around and by simple basic-descisions. Everything works anyhow, I can not do anything really wro
I would pay 5 $ for Multiplayer and 5 $ for a german version.
- Knights of Asok are too powerful to mess with in early game. They need to defend their castle or something, that way scouts can get past.
I do not understand these knights in the story of the game...why should they kill my Pioneers? No money, I do not expect them to have my pioneers for dinner, no fame... even fantays games could have a little bit logic and predictability,
Monsters being actually a real pain is fine to me, but their constant threat to my outposts and cities is no fun. It becomes a micromanagement hell at best and is gamebreaking way too often. Give us a simple solution to hold all monsters (bandits, butchermen, ...) but not enemy forces away from our infrastructure. Let's say we could have three options for cities and outposts: 1) traps and scarecrows - takes some monthly
I give it up with 0913. In my last hard game I walked around for half an hour and did not find any fertile land for a second city. I need any magic for fertile land or technology that makes it possible to settle on other types of land. On "challenging" I killed every neighbour fraction without problems. <div id="wrc-float-icon" style="position: fixed; z-index: 2147483646; left: 15px; top: 15px; width: 42px; height: 42px; background-image: url('safari-extension://com.a
I played all my games on the default settings (Moderate/Moderate/Medium/Balanced) outside of difficulty which was set to hard. I agree that the challenge currently is from the randomness of monster placement - I imagine dense is a lot tougher - I will give that a shot.
So I will try to play against the hard-KI with moderate monsters... :) I think at the moment dense is an advantage for the KI, because the
Yazari, where have all the monsters gone in your game, like dragons, Death Demons and that stuff? Do you play on monster-setting "Dense"? My problems with my hard-games were the rare places where I could settle and a lot more strong monsters standing or walking around these places, most of the time one of my early settlements was destroyed by one of these monsters, an umberdroth ran into it using my street. <div id="wrc-float-icon" style="position: fixed; z-index: 2147483646; lef
How do I attach save-games?
to 1) I like the animals , they all have special features, you have a chance to kill them, but the fights are interesting and challenging, and you have several ways you can handle them: you can fight them the regular way with weapons or magic. You can try to tame them as a beastmaster. You can kill them very easily as a hunter. I do not like
Thank you. To the developers: Perhaps it would be interesting to add a visible chance of taming similar to the hit chance, so you know if you should fight or try to tame.
Are there any values influencing the chance to tame a beast, is spell-mastery important, too?
As a fan of Master of Magic and a player of Elemental and FE in search of a MoM 2012 I thank you for your interest in this project and your hints. As an amibious strategy game- player in search for competition I have to say: focus, yes, but do not streamline everything. Civ V is a good example for this, everything is VERY streamlined, it is a good game, but I mainly play it because of missing alternatives. So I have to say: I L O V E Unit-designers
Bugs: When returning to Main Menu the first time from a running game to start a new game heads of (self created) sovereigns are missing/not visible Could not end a round/press turn: My city was attacked, after I won the battle there was another message that my city is attacked, but nothing happened. The same or another army of the same kind was standing near to my city. I could not continue playing. Arrow range attack of a champion reaches aim
"I always felt like Elemental had potential, but hadn't quite realized it yet." is exactly what I think, too. The question always was "will it realize it/finish it at all?" The main difference between Elemental and FE are for me the noticeable presence of opponents in FE. Elemental was a little bit like playing alone sometimes. It is more concentrated right now, where Elemental wanted everything but nothing really was finished. For me some things of
Perhaps there should be more events (like raging xy or marauding Bandit Lord x in the west/north/...appearing in x turns, or "global quests" (like missions that every player can fulfill) to make the world more "non static vital". More movement/changes and "non-fighting-interesting-places"... perhaps travelling traders, smiths looking for ressources to sell special weapons, Castles where Collectors of rare Weapons live, mercaneries that work for you for several turns for money, Bounty
0912 crashed when tried as a beastlord to tame a cave bear (or the only/last beast on the battlefield?) (tried it for three times)
I hope that, too. But I bought and played Elemental and that beta now is a kind of Update for me... So they had a lot of time, more then the coming months... But could nothing better happen then a round based strategy game with a better AI then Civ V. And it is always the question for who the game will be made for, as I saw regarding Civ there are a lot of Casual Gamers, just want to play around a bit and are not unlucky with fast success, After
Bug: There is one Hero who casts "Mass Curse" in his first turn. Afer casting he is not "controllable", no Control-Buttons appear... switching to Auto and switching back resolves the problem.
OK, there are animals/beasts, constructs, twisted...after playing some games I know many of them, but an overview would be nice. I missed the option to rotate the map, but I found it, by klicking the middle-mouse-button. But still the navigation on the minimap seems complicated to me. Hard is much better/more Competition then challenging, I was "visited" by monsters and the AI (tried to) attacked me. Still it was no problem f
Played for two days a longer game on a small map. Bugs: Combat: Sometimes the Control-buttons do not work in combat, or the units/heroes do not react anymore when I play "pass".Switching to Auto-Mode and switching back helps then. Combat: Sometimes Range-Attacks with staffs reach the units from the wrong side (shoot from above, beam comes from the left) Combat: The Spell "Growth" on Warg-Riding-Units has the Shrink-Animation (unit is smaller) <
