I think it depends on what cools down...some Cooldowns are more "helpful" for the game mechanic then others: The cooldonw for impale for example I find needless, it is seldom enough that the opponents stand in the right position.

Thank you for the info.
The Defender-Trait "First Aid" has no effect in my game, ok, it has a nice sound and some graphic effect, but no Hitpoints... A Darkling lurker was able to run out of the battlefield, so that my troops could not attack him anymore
Why specialize? It has so much essence, with the right spells you get a lot of mana and money here and train powerful units. I do not understand why it has no defence, a dark wizard or some undead would match well.
I played a lot only to find sth. you never saw before in the Elemental-World [e digicons]:digichet:[/e]
Thank you. I hope these things wil return to the game, I think they offer interesting decisions and make the unit-designer even more intersting. You could choose between producing fast with little weaknesses or longer taking strong units. After my opinion this makes sense, because you do not "produce" units, you recruit people, and when you need troops fast, you take everyone who can carry a weapon...
Sovereign / Faction Creation Allow the player the option to delete sovereigns and factions on the sovereign/faction creation screens, instead of having to go to the xml files.
That would be really nice.
I would like to have the possibility to make notes on the zoomed out map, but I do not know if anyone else misses that.
Often armies make the wrong...sound....for example I select two Hero-Ladys and they comment it with a wolf-grrrroar...perhaps they like me... Surrendered Sovereigns often have active Enchantemens/Spells, when you get that hero the Enchantments cost no upkeep. This is ok for me, nice bonus, but perhaps not intended... Often my cities do not show the correct growth, I do not know if this perhaps happenes after new buidlings? For example I could reach 120 people, have
Quoting Rath3130, reply 19 I think if Stardock had it so we could set up our units in battle before it actually started, or even a window that opens up showing a grid where you would like your units to start in a standard fight would be greatly helpful. This. Implemented either globally or as a perk for the Commander hero type called Tactics.
Oh ,this I woul
Yes, restarting brings the water back to the world, restart earth when having problems... :) I only tried reloading the game. The game runs out of memory regardless how much memory I have? The fight should start when pressing "Turn", I think the second and third and... of my units are not allowed to move in combat. They could act, but not move. Could be sth. related to having pressed "Pass" in a turn before perhaps, had this "stuck-unit-event" yesterday
I made my peace with the wolves as opponents after playing a lot, there are some ways to handle them, and it is much more interesting to have some own wolves (Anna&friends) the only problem then would be: Why think about a good strategy and return to kill them for a lousy leather-helmet? [e digicons]^_^[/e]
Couldn`t I take also weaknesses in the unit designer before? The only unit with a weakness now is the scout, but when I change his gender the weakness is gone and I can not take it anymore.
I made a little package... https://spideroak.com/browse/share/Limboldt/felh (if key needed: felh) Still (had this also in FE) sometimes the water disappears from the map, in combat you see no more the quadrats that show where you can move and the borders of regions/factions are not shown anymore (Screenshots "combat", "no water"). It is ok that with higher difficulty the AI gets
I would see it as interesting addition to the FE-world, when there would be more "event-like" things go on in the world. At the moment the "moving around-creatures" are either liberated of their lairs by outpots- or city-building, or they walk some yields away from their home because new monsters were "born". But I think the world could be even more interesting with, for example: There is a concept in Warlock - Mage of the Arcane where you get easy missions, it is a si
I think good human strategy players and Optimzers are OP in FE... [e digicons]^_^[/e] There is another thread discussing relaods... I think what makes the Beastmaster so strong is mainly that we with reloading have the chance to tame nearly every animal and we never loose some beasts in fights. This thread talks about the Beastmaster-Governor-Combo: After my experience it is hard to tame "interesting" beasts without much Spell mastery (Mage) So
Yes, it is "sweet poison". Good that someone mentioned it after all the dicussions about OP-things... I am an otpimizer, so I can not acccept if there is a realistic chance and I am not successful... and yes, it makes a very very big difference to get this bear or spider or not. But yes, again, even challenging or hard games are "broken" or as they called it often here, OP. You have to "translate" what we do with reloading to understand how dramatic the
Tell me how I can teach my AI to power up please :) In my last "Hard" game I have a power rating of about 400 and the next AI has 100, I started building units very late but "recruited" a cave bear very early and got 4 other units via quests. Strange thing that Power rating.... I think it depends on the surroundings, when you get early units you can split your "Quest-and collect"-Teams resulting in even more stuff, fame and Power rating... Do yo
I like the Idea that there are people in my empire careing about effictivity and improve my production. But I seldom use them because there is one big conflict for me: I want to level up them before I use them, but you can not do both, staying in a city and leveling... I never build the Adventurer-Guild, perhaps that combination works. I am an Outdoor-boy...letting heros stay in a city is not so much fun... Or something else... In the game "Endless Space
Yes, the second thing is a little it strange, but I think that would be complicated to implement. You can see it as if the tamed creature is rewarded as new member of the winning team :)
I think it is intentional because when playing a Beastlord you tame a lot and a Beastlord would not ask to give him no XP for all his work [e digicons]^_^[/e] I think beaten a monster is beaten a monster, no matter if you told him jokes till it died, knocked it out or tamed it. You are rewarded for...success.
When playing high difficulty it is possible to trick with them: you can place one so that a town is in range, so the bonus is given to these units inside the town, too, when I saw that right... or I place one near to a dragon, rush the upgrades and then attack.
It could happen that you send a unit through the "save land" of an ally and that unit gets killed by his pet...a little dragon...who knows that your units taste sweeter.
Yes, I had this event ,too. I could handle them, but a little bit tooooooo many skeletons for my taste.
The sound in other games or even at the start of the game in the menu is fine and clear, but ingame I have sth. like a...noise in the background. The Combats also sound normal.
