well, gave up and stuck in xp boot cd, thought i was going to have to reinstall everything.... not exactly sure what happened, maybe i just lucked out, but either it repaired or re-installed or did both becuz it said it did both. anyways after it said it installed most of my programs were still there, minor losses, nothing unrestorable. but funny thing is it kept my custom boot skin, im not even changin the logon screen no more, so good luck to u jn819.

i've managed to be able to open 2 screens at the logon menu by pressin a a combination of keys.... one is the utility manager and the other is sticky keys, but neith has helpd me get bak into windows

yes i've tried safe mode, all of the modes still take me bak to logon screen

i would jus like to log into windows first, it so very frustrating being unabel to log in...its like trying to work on your motor in your car without being able to open the hood. even if it is the boot.ini file, how would i change it to default w/out being able to login... *sigh* dont mean to sound bitter, i'm just so very frustrated over something so small...

no i didnt hibernate. i jus normaly shut down and when i awoke... LOCKED OUT. hopefuly some one will let us back into jn819 our own laptops. yea i dont plan on using bootskins again if if manage to get bak in.

i've already trired that...ctr alt del does not work, safe mode still takes me to log on screen. and i used logonstudio and its not the first time i've used it. i chagned my screens on my desktop and they've been workin normaly for a very logn time. but i jus recently got my laptop and changed it, but i've never had this dam problem.

i jus installed a new logon screen and a boot screen yesterday. i turn on my laptop this mornin and everytime it boots up it goes to the logon screen and nothing loads, i mean nothin not even the shut down button. all it shows is the piture, no user icons to login. everything seems to bootup right and jus when it up comes to the new logon screen nothign loads, its like I'm lockd out my own laptop... and now i cant even get in at all, SO PLS SOME ONE HELP ME QUICK!!!!! <img src="http://images.sta
