Update: Confirmed re-applying skin resolved Taskbar Transparency on the Desktop system. Thank You, Sir!

Update: The latest Beta build restored Taskbar transparency on my Surface Pro, but not on my desktop system.
Further update for my desktop system: Dragon Age II keeps randomly skipping out of fullscreen mode into Windowed mode until I added it to the applications/do not skin list. This seems to most frequently happen if I click anything near the screen border. Will test with other games to see if it is a general DirectX fullscreen thing or not.
Updated Info: Taskbar transparency is also not working on my Surface Pro tablet in exactly the same way as my desktop. It turns out I had simply not noticed it before because i mostly use the Metro interface with this device.
Installed on my Surface Pro tablet - no problems encountered Installed on my desktop system - no taskbar transparency in any skin. window frame transparency works fine. Adjusting taskbar transparency manually darkens and lightens the bar (full trans=white, full opaque=black, shades of grey in between). Tested with included Diamond skin.
anyone get this to run on windows 8 yet?
Yes, actually. I sent in a Stardock support ticket for it and they actually provided me an older (working) version of the Stardock Activation program that did the trick nicely. I am having the exact same problem: Satrdock Account Registration spinny blue wheel-thing just keeps spinning.
I preordered Elemental. I am having a reasonably enjoyable time with the game. Right now, it does not quite grab me the way Master of Magic did - the game seems to be a bit over complicated with a less-than-intuitive interface coupled to just-above-zero hand holding to figure out how the game actually works. Poking around (a lot) has allowed me to figure out how to play * in general * - but there is a lot of superfluous micromanagement here (Why, for example, do I have to build huts? Shouldn'
It would be fantastic if Impulse had a way to allowed for backup archives to be split up. For example, my Streetfighter IV archives to a single 4GB file and it would be far more convenient for backup purposes if it was 4x1GB files instead (without resorting to WinRAR to do this for me :))
Says the OS is not supported when attempting to install from Impulse (OD subscription). Works fine on Win7 Ultimate x64 on the same machine. . .
