Is this game coming on Impulse anytime soon?
X-Com is a stratergy game - most of the game is about managment of resources, allocating them and building up your capabilities. This is why the later games failed, they focused more on 3D action and had less resources to do good stratergy.
That's even the reason cause Silent Storm, in spite of an amazing turn based combat, fails badly to match masterpieces like UFO and Jagged Alliance 2.

Try assassin's Creed. it'sa shitty game, but at least it looks nice. Same for Prince of Persia IV, or Farcry 2.... Well, about that... Ubisoft, isn't come the time to hire a decent game designer, maybe?

Well, luckily I can say I really don't care, cause I don't put in the web anything I'm not ok about "data gathering". It's like phone tapping: you know there's a chance, but you don't care too much if you're not a drug dealer, a mafia mademan or something. And if you are, well.... you can at least try to be smart enough to not talk about that kind of stuff on phone.
I'll try to hunt it down, but I won't use Google to locate the page... against my principles.
Jesus christ, that sounds like a mental sickness. Who do you think you are? And more than that, who do you think can damn cares about you? God, you can be at best just a little bunch of statistics for Google, nothing more. Do you really think they are going to hunt for your private garbage?
So for European, except for Stardock product, there is only a small interest to buy on Impulse, you can often found a better offer somewhere else.
Damn right. And i hate this cause I really want to be a Stardock supporter. Just, do not feel stupid for that.
Well its nice to have alternatives
Sure, but it would be much better to have best alternatives, not worst.
You clearly don't live in the EU.
Well, Stardock is going even worst, about this. I used to be a very fervent Impulse supporter, but their pricing for european customers simply sucks.

Yes, he has. He says it's far overpriced, not so good and tough and so on. With same moneys you can buy far better sticks. Well, that's his advice, at least.

When people *not very inside game development* come out telling about "ULTRA-REAL games!!1!" I instinctively think about shitty results. That's just me?

So, where's announce about SFIV on Impulse? It's coming out at 3rd July and on Impulse site stills no evidence of it. Aside from the fact I'm looking for it so I'm very curious about its price, I must say sometimes you guys don't seem very smart about marketing, hype and that kind of stuff. A groundbreaking title finally comes on your DD plaform at day one, and it's still not announced, until last minute? That doesn't sound very clever to m

Are you joking me or you can't really understand where's the difference? Suppose it were announced after the fact...xyz won this. Would you feel deprived then? Now suppose you won. Would you feel that you were depriving someone else? Would someone else be more qualified than you? No, i don't, and do you want to know why? Because IT'S NOT THE SAME AT ALL. If someone else wins I really don

Sure, Captain Oblious, it actually enables someone to win. Except *any* old user. And that's the problem. It can sounds like "Who cares about you old users? We are aiming for new ones"

I love Impulse too, but I really can't say I have experienced one single problem with Steam in years. This thread sounds just a meaningless whine from a newbie user, to me.
