If you use the mod manager you need to ensure that mods are enabled. I just tested it out again and I can build the pier and logging camps when I reach them.
The version is the one for FEMM (Snakingv11c.zip), and it is checked in the launcher. FE and FEMM are the current versions (i.e., v1.02 on both). FEMM has placed SnakingMod.xml in the folder C:\...\Documents\My Games\FallenEnchantress\Mods\Snakin

I've just started trying out a couple mods, and was curious as to why nothing in-game acknowledge mods that are active. The problems arise when a mod feature isn't functioning as it should, and you are left scratching your head trying to determine why: Was the mod placed in the proper sub folder, or sub-sub folder? It the mod incompatible or simply poorly conceived? Are certain criteria not being met? Do the stars need to be in a specif

Loaded this with FEMM, no joy. Tried a dozen new games and placed new settlement one tile from treeline, and never once had new buildings push the city boundry towards the trees anf activate logging camp. Is this mod leader/faction specific?

First off, let me throw out there that the forum search feature is in desperate need of advanced settings; A search on this topic gave me hits for WoM, FE Beta, and FE release... with no way to disgard/filter the mostly irrelevant. My thoughts on the matter are this: Wounded units receive replacement troops gradually at rates that vary according to location. When the technology exists to field larger unit sizes, it is the exact same princ

I've been trying for three days to download the Beta setup file without success; the 200 mb update file downloads fine, but the main .exe downloads nothing past 81% (about 2028 mb). I was only able to get that far using a download manager (GetRight), as my IE and Firefox refuse to even start the download. Does anyone know of a hosted torrent, or alternate download site?

As far a music goes: The RIAA are a bunch of bloated, greed-seeking dinosaurs throwing tantrums. Their claims of losses are unsubstantiated, and they conveniently ignore studies that show P2P users actually buy more music than non users. When I was a kid, we frequently traded mix tapes and borrowed albums to copy off and listen to... it was, and still is, the best free advertising a musical outfit can get. Now, since the whole bloody planet has gone laws

I’ve finished my third game and… er, well… I don’t see the appeal. This has not only become my least favorite Stardock game to date… it has become the only one I don’t like thus far. In short, it’s Homeworld ”lite” with Starcraft sound effects, put together in a fashion that makes gameplay about as strategic as Rock Paper Scissors . Like Homeworld, you get to move ships around in a 3D environment… but unlike Homeworld, you are restricted to a ‘tabletop’ playing area. The combat is pr

Thanks BoogieBac... I *really* appreciate the info As for... Suggestion 5: Yeah, just use the rally point button on the planet context window...much less head slapping But getting back to your Bug3, could you send an error report when the game crashes from pre

I realize that the game just patched to a Beta version (er, oddly enough, that is somewhat akin to a constructed building being upgraded to a blueprint concept…), but there are a few details that I feel could stand a bit of attention: Trade Routes. I have one, am allowed 5… but when I attempt a second, I get the ‘You already have the maximum allowed…’ bit. This has only happened since the game I began after the Beta patch. Fleet movement. Not sure if this is
