More than once in Civ I've wished I could get rid of a pesky mountain and go looking for my sovereign. Besides that, the unit movement in Civ V is driving me insane. I've found the quests have gotten in the way of my playing the game. I get too frustrated with huts not giving quests and not disappearing and chains getting lost. Thankfully there's a toggle when you launch a new game so I've just been turning them off. I hope they get fixed up soon. The idea is great.
I bought Elemental as a pre-order ages ago. Short of downloading it during the beta and giving it a five minute "Oooh, this has potential" look I really didn't do anything with it until yesterday. And it's the most fun I've had in ages!!! I don't understand what the fuss is about. The game is a load of fun. There are a few issues, but on something as complex as this there are bound to be some, just like there are when any other complex game gets released.
I find that I easily lose track of which city is which on the left side when I'm going through them one by one, and it is very cumbersome to do more than every few turns. I find I just have to keep looking at the build complete warnings on the right side of the screen and just not queue anything up so when a city shows up there I issue a new build order. A quick list of cities with what buildings and units they're producing would take a lot of the pain out of city management. &n
