I am seeing this as well on Windows XP. Windows XP hasn't been stable at all, but now I cannot even get passed the world creation :(

I am getting this as well. I can move around fine, but as soon as I build a city the game crashes [e digicons]8C[/e]

I know it is a beta, but I hope that the cursor graphic changes before the final release. The current quill is somewhat counter intuitive graphically. It has a tiny point that is where you are pointing with the cursor, but then it has a big feather part at the opposite end that is shaped like a big arrow.
