I received a response on my ticket which advised to use a .bat file to remove Fences. Did that and then went to Stardock to download and resinstall the most current version of Fences, something like 3.01. The middle click issue is still there. The issue of the Fences UI is different in that, when I first tried to bring up the UI, the cursor circle thing spun around for about 3 seconds, disappeared, and then nothing at all happened. When I tried it again, the UI a

Has anything changed with the process of creating an icon package? Just curious as there hasn't been a new icon package for almost a year. Are there any tutorials for creating a full, complete Win10 Icon set? Thanks, David

Thanks for that sir. Have a fun one for you: My dad called me the other day and said that his Win10 start menu had disappeared. Click the start button, nothing. The start menu and every process associated with it was gone. sfc/scannow fixed it, but wow. To allow this most basic and intrinsic part of the OS to malfunction is not excusable. Turns out lots of folks had this problem and sfc didn't always fix it. Some had to do a full recover "save files" operati

I have two issues with Fences: I use the Fences double click on desktop to hide icons and a couple fences. The double click works correctly both to hide and reveal the items. My first issue is that when I middle click on the desktop, all my hidden items reappear. As if Fences is interpreting the middle click as a double click, but middle clicking again, does not hide them again. I have to doubl

Where can we find the change logs when WB, Start10, etc receive an update? The WB icon is no longer in the system tray, wanted to see if that is a known issue Thanks David

Have been thinking the unthinkable lately. Just pondering the purchase of a Mac desktop machine. Can Leopard or whatever they're running these days be customized in the same manner as Win machines can with Windowblinds and etc? Full UI customization? Are there equivalents to Winstep, Windowblinds, Fences, Icon Packager, etc? Just curious. Thanks.

hmmm.... back in the day, I did a few windowblinds, a bunch more Winstep themes and a few odds and ends. I think I end up paying around $5 for a master skin and I'm very glad to do it. It's really difficult to do a good, classy WB these days. It takes a lot of time and patience. I'm not rich, but I appreciate what these folks do. It's worth it. There are other skins I would like to buy, when I save up a few bucks to spare, I will.</p
Firefox on Windows 10 draws its own titlebars which look like the Windows 10 ones but for reasons best known to them are not the standard ones. This means it conflicted with us trying to draw our own as they still have their fake buttons drawing and accepting mouse clicks. Unfortunately the only solution was to exclude those windows.
Very odd that when I launch Firefox, it starts with a fully skinne

I've read all the comments here. Is WB worthless without IP? Of course not. That being said, I have the WB Agenda, with the matching WS theme. It's absolutely stunning with the wallpaper I have. The default Win10 icons look completely out of place; they look terrible and I would like to be able to match an IP to bring the whole thing together. It's to the point where I'm thinking about replacing certain icons individually and hoping for the best. The Win10 icons look tha

I've been involved in skinning for a while. I was fortunate enough to contribute some skins back in the day. Yes, the GUI has changed since XP, but no matter what MS does, I will always use Winstep Extreme, WindowBlinds and Icon Packager (I hope and pray.) I like to make my computer experience comfortable to use and to be able to change it to something completely different as the mood strikes. I certainly hope that Brad, Neil and company do decide to put ou

I don't know if anyone has helped you with this, but you can change where the "Public Documents" are located by right clicking the folder, choosing the tab which says 'location' and typing in whatever location you wish. I have my public documents folder on an external USB hard drive.
