Update, I dl'd DScaler Mpeg codec and it now works. Looks like it wasn't Microsoft's fault after all.

We're on to something here! The Movie Maker idea didn't seem to have an effect, but the "Stinky" mpeg-2 codec now has everything working except Blissful Dreams. Does anybody have a favorite codec like to share that might help? Thanks so far.

SharkPit, Goodnight Earth, Copper Pool and Blissful Dream get the same upper half screen pixellated corruption. Practically everything else works fine, such as AlienRayBlue, Bouncing Box, Christmas Twinkling, Corpuscule, Comet DeepImpact, Puublehil, notastargate, midnight moon, nanosuite. I'm running a NVIDIA 8800 GTS SLI system on an Alienware Core 2 system with a 680i Mobo and 2 GB Ram. Given the appearance of the corruption, I had initially assumed it was some issue with SLI, but it

Continued video corruption using Deskscapes. Here's a photo. Latest NVidia drivers. all the Nvidia Vista hotfinxes installed. Some of the animated desktops work and some don't. I can't figure it out.

Same problem. 8800GTS SLI. Tech support says it's a rendering problem with Vista. They told me to talk to Microsoft. right....talk to Microsoft.....

I can't get Vista Standalone Update to work, so all of the recommended updates are not yet installed. This is a common issue after good old Microsoft took it upon themselves to update the WUSA.exe module whether you had updates authorized or not! Now it is completely screwed up for quite a few Vista users. SP1 is supposed to deal with this. Until then, I can't do manual updates...only what is offered to me thru Microsoft Update on the web. I recall doing that from the nvidia site a while back. I'll head back to the site and review the fix links and be sure I've got them all. My SLI has been working fine with other programs.

I just installed it and all the dream files have the upper half of the screen pixellated and corrupted. REally nice.... SLI 8800 GTS Nvidia 680i latest nvidia drivers

Dream Files Corrupted!! in DeskScapes WinCustomize Forums

I just downloded Deskscapes and one of the premium dream files. I run Windows Vista Ultimate with an SLI array using 2 Nvidia 8800 GTS cards on an Nvidia 680i MoBo with 3 GB ram and the latest certified Nvidia drivers. Dreamscape works fine with WMV files. The Deskscape Dream files all show the upper half of the screen as a mass of pixellated corruption. I tried all the available SLI modes and finally turned SLI off with no improvement. What's going on??
