i dont understand why is everyone talking abt 3rd party softwares. @vimal, why think of spending money while xp has everything that u need? start your pc with a 98 boot disk & install 98 on D. when u r done, u'll see your xp/dual boot is gone. this is 'cos 98 has overwritten the master boot record. dont panic, ur xp is safe in C. now boot ur pc with an xp boot disk & when that 1st blue screen comes, press R to enter recovery console. it'll ask which os u wanna log in, for u its 'C:\windows'. the

thats not what i meant. suppose i have submitted A wb skin b4 & now i m submitting A sysmetrix skin. now while submitting the A sysmetrix screenshot, i might name it A.jpg & i forget that my A wb screenshot was also named A.jpg & that will overwrite my wb screenshot with sysmetrix screenshot. to avoid anything like that, i needed to know the filenames, not what stuffs i've submitted.

ya, me too. i m working on it rite now, trying to change all the reg. values that contain the address(C:\program files\object desktop.......). but the problem i see is i see only black as preview. can someone else try it & tell me if they also see the same?

thanx chas for ur effort. i found the culprit & solved the problem. it was stylexp. to travis, using the patched uxtheme is no prob. what makes all trouble is the stylexpservice. i uninstalled stylexp & now i use both patched uxtheme & wb 4.1 simultaneously & believe me or not, my pc was never faster

well, i used them both simultaneously for pretty long time. i didnt have any prob b4, except for the display properties taking long to show up. donno whats wrong with this 4.2 version. anyways, can anyone tell me how to stop wb from running at startup? even if there is no startup entry? does it make itself system service or sthing like that?
