that seems odd behaviour - when you move any unit next to an enemy unit the unit sometimes attacks this doesn't happen if you move your unit next to two enemy units, only if the enemy unit is alone problem is if you want to cast a proximity spell and your champion attacks physically
As far as I can tell from my games growth consistantly works fine on foot or horse, but on alternative mounts such as warg, boar or lizard the growth spell actually reduces size.
you seem to be correct, this happened on a warg, never seen happen again on a horse

since the advent of the DSL and digital distribution I haven't bought a single DVD, digital distribution has made my life a lot easier Steam has great offers and a vast choice, even many Indie games the Steam client is well thought and easy to use I hate their "update every two days" policy, often I have only half an hour to play, I don't like spending it waiting for steam to update - these updates are often to block multiplayers from exploiting weaknesses, nev

my mistake, I was thinking about a champion casting haste on itself it seems still logical IMHO : you cast haste to allow your unit to move before the others, the spell works from the moment it's been cast, not from the moment the unit should move but I haven't seen a unit going from a movement every few turns to five movements in a row, that's why the combat system seems quite robust to me

Anna the dog seems to die too easily too, the sand golem rocks but for the two points movement

I do look around, a 5/3 location in view is too tempting, even a 4/3 would be good, otherwise a 4/2 allows to immediately start building a pioneer while the sovereign scouts around, I don't like to lose more than two turns

maybe the question has already been asked but ... why militias die at the end of a battle ? as soon as you kill the last attacker, militias defending the town fall on the ground gasping for air, is it to avoid giving them experience points ? because next attack they are there again luckily normal units survive and prosper

I wouldn't say "a lot more" or a "a lot less", but coasts seem a little bit more fragmented, and mountains often block the landscape and passages are narrower I play on large maps, dense monsters and fewer AI, the proportion between land/water/mountains seems quite right to me
Yes, slow/haste should not give less/more turns based on turns already taken. That is just counter-intuitive. It should only affect from the point in time the slowing/hasting spell is cast.
I don't get it, from the moment you cast a spell ALL the following turns are affected as they are "future" turns, the spell reorganises the order in which units will move or attack, it cannot change turns already taken as they ar

I've seen a choice menu appearing in the bottom right-hand corner when trying ot cast Fire Elemental because I had two mages able to cast it, this may be work in progress, however I was able to cast more pillars of flame than the total champions under my control - I guess ... will verify ...

savegame here tried to load a previous game, to do other things with the units (going elsewhere, not attacking, building other things), it always crashes when i hit turn, and now even if I try to save windows xp sp2 - 2Gb RAM - ati radeon hd4870

a quest gives you some ophidians, they have decent attack and defense stats, but only 8 life points, only by keeping them in the back and waiting them to level up a few times they become of any use because despite their good defence they die after the first strike against most enemies having a 12 attack

the Black Gate quest sent me through Gilden territory, they asked me gently to leave, I accepted and here I am, in the middle of the Black Gate land, on the other side of the closed gate first time I see the quest, up to now the first quest, in front of the first agate, was nowhere to be seen
