Oh yeah... very, very slow. I don't agree that this is/was a server migration issue, nor is it my browser (I alternately use Firefox, IE, Opera and Chrome) with the same slow issue. I have no problems with speed on ANY OTHER sites I visit (DeviantArt, Caedes, graphic intensive sites, as well as news sites, you name it, I go everywhere...). This has been an issue with WC for a LONG time. I've been a member for almost 6 years and am kind wonderin

Thanks all for the info. I run Norton Internet Security but I've run that for years and thru many interations of all Stardock programs without issue until recently. My video drivers are updated - I keep my system in tip top shape and have for years. Haven't tried running the ./bat file yet but probably will and see what happens. Will check out Impulse... WB has been working fine ever since I posted my problem. Figures. Kinda like a rattle in your car the service dept. can
P. S. I don't know what "Impulse" is... other than a .exe file. Is there something wrong with using Stardock Central to update my Stardock products - of which I have many!?
Thanks for the reply - here's the info you requested. WindowBlinds version : WindowBlinds 6.1 (build 55 x86) WindowBlinds is installed correctly on this PC WindowBlinds appears to be activated on this PC Your machine supports per pixel borders on WindowBlinds skins. (Default Monitor) 1 is attached to NVIDIA GeForce Go 7400 Wblind.dll 2008/05/06 15:25:20 Wbsrv.dll 2008/04/28 11:35:10 Wbconfig.exe 2008/04/29 21:02:32 Wbload.ex
I've been using Windowblinds now for about 4-5 years. Right now I'm running 6.1 (Build 55 x86) and I've kept it updated via Stardock Central. I am not running a trial version. The last 2-3 times I've updated it, I've had problems with WB applying at boot up. I get the Windows Classic look instead of the selected WB I've had set to apply. If I reboot 2-3 times, WB finally kicks in and I get the skin I've set.<br
Anyone have any help for me with this?? See my previous posts in same thread, please... Thanks!
Thanks all for your replies. I understand it better now! One of the features I really like about XP Plus is being able to change the size of the cursor. I would assumed FX "free" doesn't have this as XP "free" didn't when it came out - I had to upgrade to Plus to this get the cursor sizing feature... thanks again.
I've had CursorXP Plus for some time and, since I live under a rock most of the time, I just noticed that on WinCustomize, a new program, CursorFX is now listed and CursorXP is not there anymore. Kinda weird that CursorXP Plus (a paid for program) has been replaced with a freebie?? I like freebies, I just don't like that a program I've paid for and kept updated has been replaced by a free one. Is the "pay for" version of CursorFX free to loyal, paying customers of Curs
Thanks for your reply. Here's the info you asked for (at least I think this is the right info!): WindowBlinds version : WindowBlinds 6.1 (build 46 x86) WindowBlinds is installed correctly on this PC WindowBlinds appears to be activated on this PC Your machine supports per pixel borders on WindowBlinds skins. I'm a long time user of many Stardock products as well as a WinCustomize subscriber. I recently cranked up Stardock Central and let it run an update to WindowBlinds to 6.1 (Build 46 x86). Now, for some strange reason, whenever I start up my computer from a cold boot or a restart, my selected WindowBlind is not applied. Then I open WindowBlinds from the Start menu (Windows XP Pro), the WindowBlind I had selected before is the one selected still and I go ahead and
GREAT JOB! It's wonderful!!!
**bumping myself**! Anyone have any clue....?
I am using KeepSafe 1.1. I have it configured to a local folder on my C: drive for the "Set Local Location" option for storing revisions and to "Store a copy on a network drive when possible" for "Set network location" to my external F drive. I'm thinking that I've got a setup problem somewhere because I keep getting a balloon notification that tells me the local storage location is "offline". I have it set to notify me on this. I would think this is referring to what I have
Merry Christmas and happy holidays to all!!!
I'm so used to these I'm hitting delete before you can blink. I've always felt it's too bad that the people who waste their time trying to scam someone, no matter the scam, would do better to use their brains for something really useful/beneficial.
I believe ObjectDock Plus, which is what I assume you are using, has options to change the icons to whatever you want along with changing the size. There's tons of icons on here for ObjectDock and I have found all of them to be nicely developed and very artistic. I may not be understanding your problem but this was my thought about the icon issue. Part of the fun of Object Dock is using all the great icons people have uploaded under the ObjectDock se
Never mind... I found the answer in another post. Dummy me.
Wanna share your resolution to the sys tray items not showing up? Please, pretty please..?? (I am also running the paid version, just got it yesterday.)
THANK YOU! I didn't go far enough in the process to get it changed when I tried previously. I really appreciate your help!
I changed my e-mail address fairly recently. I updated it with Stardock. Fine, all is good. Then I renewed my WinCustomize subscription last week and, somehow, ended up not being able to log in to WinCustomize with my new e-mail address even tho' I could before renewing my subscription. I've contacted Stardock and they advise that their records indicate that my NEW e-mail address is, in fact, correct on their records. All is good there, I
I changed my e-mail address of 15 years+ to another one recently. How do I update this with my WinCustomize records? I just re-upped on my WinCustomize subscription for another two years and could swear I used my new e-mail addy. But now when I attempt to sign in at WinCustomize it won't log me in with my new address. I believe I have also updated it with Stardock so both should now be the same. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks much - that did the trick!
Problem is, is that these zip downloads DO NOT contain an .CurXpTheme file. As I listed above, there are a number of pngs files and one Scheme.ini file versus the "normal" .CurXPTheme file. I understand how to deal with and install the CursorXP files that are the CurXPTheme files. This one is different. As an example, the Clear Blucite cusor set by ooosnoman1. This zip download contains only separate png files and one Scheme.ini file - no
How do I install the CursorXP zip downloads that contain a bunch of png files and a Scheme.ini file? I downloaded a couple wonderful ones and don't know how to install them in CursorXP - I know.. dumb me. I'm just used to the ones that are a single file - i.e name.CursorXPtheme. Thanks for any help!
Pyro... no matter, it works fine now that I understand the deal. Thanks for your reply tho' and trying to help me out. I probably didn't explain it very well to begin with!
