When training new units, the second button listed under "Quality:" remains unlocked after starting a new game without first exiting the game. To duplicate: 1) Start a game as the Tarthans and found a city. 2) Note that the "Experienced" button is available for use. 3) Start a new game as Altar without exiting and found a city. 4) Note that the "Experienced" button remains available for use. 5) Now exit the game and restart. 6) Start a ne

Fully uninstalling, deleting the \My Games\Elemental folder, and reinstalling seems to have cleared this up for me. I'll post a debug if it happens again.

New for 1.20 I'm getting a DirectX crash when I come back after Alt+Tabbing out of the game. I didn't have this problem with 1.19. This is with Windows 7 64-bit, Radeon 5870 1GB, 4GB of system RAM

This isn't new to 1.20, but it still exists. The Tarthans don't start with the Equipment Tech even though they're supposed to.

As of 1.19i this remains a much needed feature. I hate having to add "TA" in front of any unit name for my Tarthan units, and other letters for other factions. Even then, it's still crazy hard to keep my units organized since the game doesn't overwrite units with the same name, it just creates a new one! This isn't hard to do so I'm hoping it'll happen.

Pie-in-the-sky ideas ahead 1. I could see some special tech(s) that allow weapons and armor that are a cross between the current "regular" ones and the current "magical" ones. For example, Light Plate that uses both Metal and Crystal, but no Elementium. It would not be "legendary" but simply magically enhanced. Perhaps it wouldn't add any more Defense than regular Light Plate, but it wouldn't have a Dodge penalty, or something like that. 2. Another possibility i

Sorry to hear you're still having problems. Hopefully they'll get it sorted out soon. For the Devs, I can say that this is the first version where I've been able to go through a full game without a crash, so kudos on that.

This bug has been around for a while. I thought I posted something about it a while back, but it's not in my list of posts. When you look at the Training window, you have the four buttons for Single, Group, Squad, etc. and another four buttons for Recruit, Veteran, Elite, etc. What's happening is if you gain techs enabling some or all of these buttons, then either load a previous save or start a new game, these buttons do not reset. Not a big deal atm, but I wanted to mention it before I forget. I started a new game as the Magnar and in the Design window the Peasant design you start with only has 1 Movement. The Pioneer correctly has 2. New units also have 2. Also I'm not sure if it's intentional or not, but the Magnar Pioneer has a club, which makes it cost quite a bit more than a Human (any of the Kingdom races) Pioneer.

While playing as an Empire, I was amazed to discover a Crystal Crag. I promptly built a town next to it and researched Arcane Experiments. After researching Arcane Experiments, I still couldn't build a mine on it. The text says I need to research Arcane Weapons in order to harvest, but Arcane Weapons is now the last tech in the crystal tech line (after Arcane Armor now). I suspect that when these techs got switched around, the tech to unlock the crystal mine didn't get changed as well. Since

I see several posts about the game crashing with 1.09s, but in my case the game doesn't crash. Instead, the screen is just all white so I can't see the cloth map, units, or anything else other than the basic UI. I can hit Esc and the window appears with Save, Load, Options, Exit to Main Menu, etc. so I can exit to the main menu and then exit the game. I find this particularly true of Metal. I can explore the entire map on Tiny and not find a single Metal resource. Then if I research Exploration and similar techs, it adds a whopping one Metal resource to the map, which may or may not be accessible to me, and even then if it's not near a food resource or if it's really far from my current holdings, it becomes incredibly difficult if not impossible to defend.
