Yes...it's MUCH better! I've played every revision so far. NO crashes on my butt kickin' Asus G series laptop. Occasional crashes still on my desktop (but I haven't test the v update there yet). AMD dual core with 9800 GTX card (both machines are Windows 7 64 bit). I say "yes" go for it. This version is far better than the release version. New buyers will be a heck of a lot happier with the latest revisions.

Spectacular! The open conversations about development...and implementation of user feedback is exactly why I love Stardock. Buying a Stardock game, you always feel like you're part of a cool process...and I, for one, thoroughly enjoy knowing my purchase has no ceiling. Amazing things will continue to be considered and integrated into patches and add-ons. Thanks for involving us!
...post 1.08 patch, first game: Went with fire spells. My Sov NEVER missed!. Any spell-slinging summons wouldn't miss either...this was a fresh game started from scratch after patch. Next game (post second 1.08 patch), so far earth related spells won't hit ANYTHING... Rokeroth (rock looking dude) never hits stuff with his raining boulders spell. My Sov also can only hit stuff with water related spells...no earth spells.
Agreed...hats off to Stardock!
There are plenty of great threads on stuff that needs fixing and ideas for improvement. I am purposefully avoiding listing improvements/bug fixes and instead I thought I would post up the things that "stand out" to me about this game (notice...I said "to me") For me, ol' jmarke, there's a lot to like here! So.... 1. The "Sovereign" concept: I like that there's a focal character...adds the RPG element. I like the idea that the

Heck, I remember standing in line to play Space Invaders! People were blown away at arcades by these "new fangled" video games... I even stood in line to play Pong at a local Mack's store while in Middle School... Then, a few years later I'm hooked on Wizards of Wor and Gauntlet. I hate to even think about how much of my meager cash-flow was dropped into coin slots!
Yep...old dude here. 47 is ancient in the computer gaming world! I simply broke my normal lurking silence to say "thanks" to Frogboy and the Stardock team for Elemental. Yes, I've had a few crash to desktops, but each patch cuts down on 'em. What I'm thankful for is the FUN I've had...It's been a long, long time since any company has had the guts to release a turn-based strategy game. They are not the most popular thing out there these days! However, a long
