Well, not any limits not tied to the fleet logistics or planet development. I have a high end PC so I doubt I'll run into any memory or processor problems.
Yea, I have a high-end laptop, so nothing seems to faze it. It was just weird after populating most of the planets, but it wouldn't allow me to build any more structures

That sale still makes me sad, not that I blame Stardock in anyway, you have an IP and someone wants to pay you an absurd amount of money for, why not sell. Game stop just destroyed it in every way one could've imagined. Oh well, old wounds and all. Honestly excited for a lot, already played the alpha a bit and chomping down for multipl

Lost a planet, Purple Paladin has. Very embarrassing, very embarrassing.
I'll just leave this here for everyone to read, to me it makes the most sense, got it from the Stardock forum. I'll say everything I have to in one post and disappear again. I have limited free time and energy, and I would rather use that towards doing things I enjoy and are more relaxing (like video games). So I apologize for that. This is a pretty nuanced and challenging topic, and the same push
The current version is super placeholder. It's why we put the "Under Construction" space pony there. We discussed cutting techs entirely from the Tech Preview just because this screen is so bad. But decided that it was needed to make the game at all playable. We didn't want to have the team spending any real time "cleaning up" this screen because it's going to be replaced entirely. So instead we provided a very placeh

However, 800 logistic (fully upgraded) points for a terran class world is a lot. Its nearly half the max fleet size. If you were playing defensively, keeping your fleet at your terran world, you'd be able to kick the butts of anyone invading your world. And this is before starbases are added.
One of my favorite mechanics in SoaSE 1 was that ability to have new ships that are built automatically "waypoint" to a ship or group. This saved SO much tedium and let us concentrate on strategies and watch the action take place. It's the main reason a friend, who dislikes RTS games, plays Sins. Consider, for SoaSE 2, another leap forward: "Fleet Blueprints". One of my least favorite parts of Sins has always been after batt

What I like about the new Interface is that you see what is being researched along the top and you can move the order in what gets researched first, even something that is currently being researched. I also like the search function; it makes it so much easier to find the exact research I need. I also like that once you have the correct number of Labs when you click on the ship build menu, it has a red button if you haven't researched it yet, by purchasing the first ship, it automatica
Since I am already playing the game, I have to say it's not bad. It is still a little rough so for you guys wanting to play the final version, I would wait. As far as Epic and Steam, I think they already said the final version will be available on Steam so if you wait, you can get it. Only the technical Preview is on Epic. Personally, I think some people are getting more worked up about it then they should be. Even the DEVS were surprised by the Hate they got for going with
I think Sins-2 has dropped the ball in how planet info is represented when zoomed out. In Sins-1, planets are displayed cleanly with an ownership icon above and bars on the sides and below to show the amounts of friendly fleets (left), enemy fleets (right), and planetary structures (bottom) using ticks. The Sins-2 display is sadly far inferior with planets being surrounded by too much team color and solid bars for fleets instead of tick marks.
So, I played my first game with all 3 AI on Unfair. Have to say it is a different experience. First thing I notice is that you have to expand slowly, let the other AI's kill each other. Another tactic is Garrison, Garrison, Garrison. I had to make sure to sacrifice some asteroids to garrison instead of Planetary Labs and build factories on them. Having several Planets or Asteroids with Garrison troops near each other really saved my bacon. I also di
