Then why have two build queues? The question is...what were *you* doing prior to turn 50 that caused you to lose? I almost always build a basic military unit first thing to defend my capital. ***Because defending my capital city is important.***
I had a defending unit. I never leave my cities undefended. Not since civilization 1. But he had more units and a far higher lvl count on his 3 heroes.
HighQ
But dont you have to prioritize then as well? I mean money is not infinite as are people. The last two games i was killed prior to turn 50 because of a huge enemy force. He must have done nothing else.
I also think about a future multplayer. This makes unit rushing possible. Killing an enemy in the first turns of the game. It also keeps peacefull races weak i think. Maybe a city buildin melitia? Numbers based on the city size? Only active when there is no active unit to defend the city? Or maybe to choose for the cost of a city lvl?
I was attending a quest for an inn to kill rats for the doom club. After returning to the inn i could choose the reward Doom Club over and over again. The window only disappeares after clicking on "i take the gildar" but i had already a dozen of doom clubs in my inventory. Sorry. Found the bug report related to this. But in my game it doesnt repeat anymore. Dont know what went different.
Looking at my first game so far i have to say that i liked it better when we had the production of buildings and units seperated like in the "old" game. What do you guys think?
I chose off, but what I think most people would really like is a close-up view at an angle that gives us a more personal perspective of the city. The current iteration is very good for placement, but I feel that cities are mostly taken for granted by the endgame. Giving us a little up-close spin around the city and then an angled view from which to build would remind us of all the cool stuff we have been building.
<p
I am waiting too. So nothing yet? I was wondering if there went something wrong. Got the mail for the beta but still nothing in my download section.
1. Fixed memory leaks. 2. Reduced memory consumption (especially in the late game) by releasing unneeded textures instead of retaining them indefinitely.
Does this fix the "out of memory" crash? Can i hope on this one? Really? Finally? If the answer is yes..then...YES!!!!!!!! If the answer is no..then...i know where your house lives. -.-
Agreed. The fact that Items for Heroes only costs you gold is very imbalanced. They should cost ressources also. And the variaty and power of found items from questing should be greatly improved i think.
