I remember reading that the textures had been taken out... is that why my ships are all white? Mine have no color at all.

nths? Phase 2 is in May. There's a list of the phases here: Link
I don't see it listed... I have "show pre-release versions" checked in SD Central, and I tried refreshing. Is it somewhere besides the games menu?
d hardly play any Multiplayer if it weren't for PBEM.
It may matter in certain circumstances, like Sirian's One Planet Challenge, where every little bit helps.
Quite true. On the other hand, it's fairly easy to see the effects of a slider change when you only have one planet; in a normal game with 10+ planets, it would be very hard to find the "optimal" slider settings. ~SDC~
Yep, the bonuses will stack. :) Just remember that above the one-time cost for every constructor needed for improvement, each starbase costs 10 BC to maintain. ~SDC~
Tried again. It worked. :CONGRAT: ~SDC~
Thanks, I sent an e-mail. :) ~SDC~
I can't get myself registered for the metaverse. :( I fill in my nick and serial number, hit register, and never get through. Here's the error I eventually get if I don't stop the browser (Mozilla): Active Server Pages error 'ASP 0113' Script timed out /action.asp The maximum amount of time for a script to execute was exceeded. You can change this limit by specifying a new value for the property Server.ScriptTimeout or by changing the value in the IIS administ
Why are so many people hung up on that little item?? Sure it would be a nice little thing to have, but lots of folks for some reason seem to consider the issue to be a major shortcoming. I don't get it.
It comes from my desire to play the game "optimally"; if you're okay with knowing money that could be better spent is instead vanishing, then I see why you don't have a problem with it. ;) Currently, you have to micromanage if you don't want to waste money, which isn't fun
Question for the developers: Will wasted production (from overflow on the last turn of a project, or from not working on anything at all in the case of social production) be stopped and somehow refunded in the xpac? I really want to like this game, but that's a big complaint of mine about it. If it's going to be addressed in Altarian Prophecy, I would definitely pre-order. ~SDC~
Missing "an end to wasted production" on the features list, ;) but it looks great. :CONGRAT: ~SDC~
Looks cool. :) One question. The one thing I really want to see in GalCiv is some sort of change to wasted production when a planetary project or researched tech is completed with excessive funding (or just no project is chosen at all); even if it was just a bounce-back of production (minus bonus production) to the treasury as money, that would be great. Any chance of this happening in this xpack? ~SDC~
