In the interest of presenting more at-a-glance information to the player and reducing the number of clicks needed to figure things out, I'd like to see the HUD expanded upon in a few ways. 1. An indicator on settlements that are idle (could be building or training but aren't). 2. An indicator on the player's units/stacks that have moves available or are not at full HP. 3. An indicator on enemy units/stacks showing how threatening they are (i.e. is that just a spider dr

Long-term spells could require some sort of "spell slot" for their upkeep, so they don't affect mana beyond the initial casting cost. This would cut instant effect spells out of any micromanaging, and make it so the player can tell how many long-term spells they can have active at a glance, without the need to do any math regarding mana regeneration.
