The term 'widget' in SkinStudio refers to sections of a skin that you can import/export. For example, a scrollbar and all the images associated with it. They are specific to SkinStudio, but never really became popular. The widgets you are thinking of are the mini-application kind, something different. You can find more SkinStudio Widgets here: https://www.wincustomize.com/Skins.aspx?LibID=15

i do hope it has a non wb5 version As it stands, you _supposed_ to make wb5 skins with support for wb4.6 because not everyone's PC can do per-pixel. Which means it will also help out those who simply don't have wb5. </

We're definitely open to ideas. The little things go a long way, like new honorifics just for subscribers, custom html signatures on forum posts, new shields showing your proudly bought membership, things of that nature. And with very little browsing, you can find out Microsoft takes months...Mozilla takes days...there is the difference.

For instance, if someone is selling a media player type gadget for money, it better do some incredible things...otherwise I'd just stick to Winamp, which is full-featured...and free. What could a media-player gadget offer me, that I can't already get with Winamp or WMP? I hope to see authors take advantage of the oppurtunity of making money, but I also hope they don't try and cash in on

If we learned anything from the original Radeon, ATI can overcome what nVidia puts out. Their newest chipset (R520, iirc) is supposed to be blazingly fast. Also in ATI's near future, is Crossfire, their version of SLI, which from what I've read about it, is supposed to simply DOUBLE whatever your performance is. So if you get 13,000 on 3DMark, with a second ATI card, you will get 26,000. Whether or not this is all true is yet to be seen...but I'm b

Ever come across a checkbox that's greyed out? It's not checked, but its not unchecked either...somewhere in the middle. That would be the mixed state, not very common...but I have seen it on occasion.
