FFh2 is and will always be one of the legends, like the previous poster said you have to get it. Not going to change core mechanics? Essence? Just had a map where i crossed half the screen and found 1 essence plot. ONE with a one pt essence automatic cntr-n. Not gonna change core mechanics? Latest patch has your sov being a armsman you cant hit or damage anyone even with fire anymore and a 3 turn delay on fire dart resistance is scaled up and damage is scaled down...I thought this was war of magic? Nope solan i gave up on diablo 3 within 2 weeks.....oh my god that game hurt it was so bad. AND then they kill DECKARD!!!!!!!! Sorry guys, this game has been my bread and butter go to game since WOM hit the shelves. I am very extremely over the top passionate about it. I want another Alpha Centauri...I want to be playing this game in 10 years....why? Because it has everything I want in i, it just needs to be polished up. Update I just had to reload again for the fourth time during this map for the problem with units getting stuck while moving. That is the kind of problems that we need to get rid of. edit 5th time so i guess i will have to start a new map.

Go and read that WOM forums-- the bugs are not FE specific ---they are the same code. YAH the patch changed a lot of things but DID not correct game ending CTD's Reload ctd's new game ctds memory leaks graphic errors spell errors game suicide errors like wandering monsters and ZOC and City errors...you know all the things the reveiwers panned the last game for...THAT are still in the code and still make this game hard to play. I guess you dont understand that these so called bugs have been in the game since WOM? Headless sovs and no clothes and bad tactical battles and errors and wandering monster deaths are some of the errors that have been in this code since the game first hit the shelves and they have never been addressed. After about 30 minutes of attempting to play this----I think i am finally beaten. Once again I play this game everynight..I have played for hundreds of hours with no sov pictures, sideways arrows, spells, buildings and heroes that do not do what the tool tip says. I have continued to play even knowing that some factions are virtually unplayable because CORE mechanics dont work...cant play death if your spells make pretty lights and do not do damage. So i download the beta and start in.....Cit

Its so nice to be insulted and be told that I should cheat to play this game. No one wants to address the gaping problems I and others have listed.....just add some mods and it will be ok. Stronger enemies? ungodly bandits...new game 1 bandit and dog bandit dodged 7 times in a row. My sov the ruler of a nation cant hit a bandit but he can hit me 4 times with a knive and i cant hit him once? I dont know where the developers are going but it sure isnt any fun. set on normal...have you played the new patch? I have just spent about 8 hours on it and it is a reload fest. not everyone likes looking at the load screen. A challenge is not dying on the first turn. a challenge is not being able to build your second city because a dragon is one direction a bone ogre is another and the knights are in the other. Leo that would be cool if we hadn't been playing this game for two years with the same bugs. This game is the same as elemental. Or it has the same people coding the same mistakes. I remember when the monsters in Elemental started eating us just because someone decided that we wanted to die and see the load screen over and over. Now black widows are beating my sov on initiative when she has plus 10 and then eating her on the first turn.........loads of fun.
