I apologize for not being more clear. Let me start over. Maybe I should not have used the word explorer at all. A better way to state the issue is that windows 11 has a new ui for their built in programs such as microsoft store, and xbox, ect. With it the close button aligns with the skinned close button. The window sizing button aligns with the skinned. The minimize button aligns. And even the newly programmed roll up button all work fine. The issue is when windows 11

There is finally a way to do this I believe. Someone earlier said that you could ask for a refund for the 1 license and instead buy the 5 license through a support ticket. The conversation is located here https://forums.stardock.com/508976/page/1/#3830486
Do you by some chance run your windows 10 off of an arm processor? If so start 11 is not compatible with arm processors and will not run

Don, I have actually tried to steer this direction back towards windowblinds 11 planning with my comment of how awesome I think a skinned theme for windows 10 / 11 theme in start 11 would be. It just so happens everyone is more inclined to talk about what is going on with windowblinds 10. But users like to keep users humble here so I would say it has actually been constructive. We now know several areas that Windowblinds needs updated to work fully on windows 11. * The
Well said naroon, If there was no desire to have personalization to ones pc, then there would also be no need for a stardock products in general. We would all just be using windows as is and as intended. But that is not the case. Truth is there is a desire for personalization and that is why start 11 is selling with 4 themes for example. Because everyones tastes are different. Techies may be willing to go a bit further then casual users. And to each there own.
After playing around with Windowblinds 10 on Windows 11, I do have to say some of the missing elements are annoying. It is clearly made for Windows 10 not windows 11. It may be fun to play around with but do so at your own risk and please make sure you understand how to uninstall explorerpatcher if you wish to experiment as I do not feel this program is for casual users at all. Again I do not feel like explorerpatcher is a longterm solution at all, and that Lightstar
I just think everyone should continue to use Windows 10 and Windowblinds 10 until Windowblinds 11 is released by Stardock. But if you want to use Windows 11, just use Start 11 for now if you're happy with that. I personally don't thin hacking things in your system using software no one has ever heard about before is not a good idea.
I totally understand that sentiment lightstar. I even agree with you to a point.
and here we are at the end of 2021 with Fences 4 that unrolls with mouse-over even with the 'rollup fence' unchecked. Once I double-click, the fence re-check the 'rollup fence' option
+ 1 one on this complaint. I actually stopped rolling up any of my fences because this really bothers me a lot as well. It is a shame really because windows peek works better with the rolled fences. Rolled fences should have on
Quoting PhoenixRising1, reply 4 This should not be confused with skins made specifically for windows 11. Hopefully WindowBlinds 11 will be able to apply older skins as well as new skinnable areas for 11.[e digicons]:star:[/e]
I am h
Interesting... -However I will wait for Neils take on how skinning Win 11 is best achieved[e digicons]^_^[/e]
I would like to see what he has in mind for the windows 11 era of skins myself. This method more or less allows the use of windows 10 era skins on windows 11. This should not be confused with skins made specifically for windows 11.
1. install https://github.com/valinet/ExplorerPatcher (It can be found on the link "Download the latest version of the setup program." on that page) 2. After install is complete right click on the task bar and select "properties" 3.
I like to think of the explorer patcher method more as a backwards compatability for peoples favorite windows 10 themes. I do look forward to windows blinds 11 for several reasons. 1. Make themes based off of windows 10 or 11 theme for start 11. Huge selling point for me. 2. I don't actually hate the command bar. It would be nice to have themes that go with it
That screenshot shows windows with no frames, or should I say transparent frames. That skin shouldn't be that way. I don't call that working.
I have noticed that issue as well. It is actually a funny bug, because if you actually go to modify transparency in any way it starts to work. It just doesn't in the default middle for whatever reason
I have found that I can successfully run windows blinds on Windows 11 using the program explorerpatcher https://github.com/valinet/ExplorerPatcher After it is installed under properties and file explorer Disable the windows 11 command bar must be checked to prevent file explorer from crashing With that said, I have found 2 issues that I haven't figured out when using Windows 11 1. My best guess would be yes. I would actually be surprised if it didn't when using the same method. Someone else's turn to test it out though [e digicons][/e]
So WB10 works on Windows 11 22000 ?
I have got windows blinds to work with windows 11. explorerpatcher https://github.com/valinet/ExplorerPatcher is required to make this happen once installed command bar must be disabled under the options
naroon1, I have been doing quite a bit of testing on it in regards to adjusting transparency, color darkness, and even font. I have also been tinkering with explorerpatcher to see what happens as things are adjusted on that end. My findings are that any skin modification that I have done works just fine with the file explorer. I have not had one single crash as long as the settings are adjusted as I have posted in explorerpatcher. I have also found one variable that is
naroon1 I didn't even think to try that. But you talked me into it. I downloaded a free trial of windows blinds and attached is a screenshot of what I ended up with and the settings I used with explorerpatcher Note, I have not actually used windows blinds before this trial so you be the judge. And yes this is windows 11 I am using
How does this affect the Fences 4 product in Object Desktop? Fences 4 will still have 5 concurrent activations as do all the other member products. https://forums.stardock.com/508196/fences-4-upgrade-faq I would say that is a yes. Smart idea btw
On a serious note, I would like to request an upgrade option on the 5 license option so users can choose to upgrade to 5 licenses at a discount
Apparently you should read EULA's. Here is a real one for a different product called gamestation. This is not a stardock product. Gamestation EULA stated By placing an order via this Web site on the first day of the fourth month of the year 2010 Anno Domini, you agree to grant Us a non-transferable option to claim, for now and for ever more, your immor
I have a few bugs to report, they all involve having multiple pages created in Fences 4 1. The starting page is random when the pc starts up. It has alternated 3 times now between the leftmost fence page and the middle page. I have 3 pages in total. I have a certain setup I want at as my main page. 2. Sometimes there is a residual animation effect that sticks during changing pages with the last drawer / fence that was opened and is present until the drawer fence is hovered ove

The only silver lining I can provide is both purchases will be at discount. I believe it is 2 dollars off for every purchase unless th
