The TPM chip really caught a lot of people by surprise. Anyone that builds their own PC probably did not have installing a TPM chip in their plans and if you bought a PC it is really a game of luck if you already have this chip installed. TPM 2.0 may have a little impact with security short term, but I really question the idea that it was needed as a requirement for PC security overall. At the end of the day protecting your PC really comes down to the same practices it always has. i.e
To me it feels like all suggestions get considered. I think that has been part of the road map with Start 11. Of course not all suggestions will be integrated but it does feel like at the very least the suggestion will be talked about if it makes sense for the final product. Anyone that see's an issue with Start 11 while it is still in development probably should speak up because it probably will be considered.
The biggest benefit between KVM vs Pro for a home user is going to be the direct access your main PC has with your 3 laptops. It can control the 3 laptops from your main computer without having to get up which is cool. Other then that pro mostly offers better security for an office setting. Sto3IV - With these DEV builds you may want to start making sure you have a roll back point saved before you install any new updates. It seem's like MS is getting a little more experimental with their stuff, so there may be a few more instances where things stop working. I have seen a lot of apps, not just in start 11.
Fence integration is brand new, and I like that feature myself. I do like the thinking of having it integrated further and new ideas are always welcomed here I am not sure if the roll up feature would mesh well with the start 11 set up. While it could be argued that the tabbed pages can each hold a separate fence and that could fix it. Perhaps others that really like the tabbed look the roll up provides and want a more similar look. An idea I would have that goes with the start 11 des

Most apps previously were designed to work with Windows 10. But on the flip side most apps that are coming out in the future are designed for windows 11. It will be a busy year for new stuff on Windows 11. Once Groupy 2 and Windowblinds 11 hit then you will see the worth.
I have only experienced a very mild issue. Any icons that have been changed (via the custom tile/icon feature) that are no longer saved on the computer disappear once updated. I will chalk it up to partially my fault for not leaving the icons saved in a folder.. Otherwise, no new issues even on the newly released Windows 11 update version 22000.466

I previously floated the idea of having the resizing locked with the lock menu.. Would that also resolve the floating issue. I have noticed that constant resizing also can generate the floating start menu.

+1 This is not yet possible but a feature I would like I have been using files 2.0 a bit myself and the biggest drawback is also with fences folder portal. When setting Files 2.0 as default explorer then folder portal no longer scrolls through folder but rather just opens files 2.0 when clicked
I have used exploerpatcher to achieve this. But, it is nice to know there is a more direct approach as well. It seems that the issue with windowblinds 10 is the command bar. I do wonder how this more direct approach compares. In explorerpatcher there are a few things such as transparency that are an issue in Windows 11. In any case you can always get good advise in toms harware, it is a pretty good site.

The worst part about all of this is that everything that is in Windows 11 DEV builds are not even guaranteed to make there way into Windows 11 Release. It all sounds like a huge headache
