Thank you. I had no idea what Master of Magic was, but it sounds awesome and I think I would certainly buy a MoM2 now...

Or you could always take the neutral approach, of course, and take no penalties in the worm event. Which is what I prefer to do before I know what alignment I'm going to be.
I would hardly be one to impose upon the staff my problems [it really isn't their job to cater to every individual, after all], so I'll edit it myself. Where do you find a hex editor, though? This is the first I've heard of them.
I'm having a tad bit of trouble submitting my latest game to the Metaverse. I already submitted one game to the Metaverse with AP with absolutely no problems whatsoever. However, I just tried to submit a game a few minutes ago and I got an error message saying that I was using an unsupported map or scenario, despite the fact that I was on a completely random map without a change of rules. I am working on a campaign of scenarios, but this was not using anything from it. I can provide a s
I mentioned this in a topic earlier, but if you play a map [in a campaign or not] where the human player starts with more than one planet, the "just colonized the first planet" movie plays. The screen is also messed up, since you can see the "choose research" menu up at the same time...I'll try to make a screenshot of this.
Of course not. oo What's that got to do with anything, though? If the Drengin invade the sector Sol after numerous years of war, the humans aren't likely to start with one planet and have to expand from there. Scenarios with multiple human planets generally take place in heavily-colonized quadrents with a consolidated power base. For example, in this scenario, the Drengin and Yor, in a temporary alliance of circumstance, invade the heavily-defended Sol Sector to try and cause a schism i
Fulgrymm is right, it's not a normal game. It's actually part of a campaign I'm building, and there'll be a lot of later scenarios in it that have multiple starting human planets. . .
I made a map where the player gets numerous planets are the start, and when I tested the map out I got the movie you get for first colonizing another planet right off the bat. I mean, right after the map booted up. Is this supposed to happen? This is just an annoyance since one can get out of it rather easily, but I do want to report it.
And...uh...yes, what Omni said about Trade Route options. I had forgotten about that.
Yes, you have a default of 2 trade routes possible at the start [3 with the Merchantile party, I believe]. Certain techs [Cultural Trade, I think is one] allow you an extra trade route at being researched. I don't think it's possible to get 5 trade routes running right after researching Trade, but whatever strategy this was likely meant "as soon as possible".
I like the Korx design -- I think it's the most interesting looking of the aliens -- but it provides some weird mysteries on their communcative and sight forms. How do they see or speak? They do not appear to have any vocal or optical abilities [lack of visible eyes and mouth], so I do wonder how they speak. Do they speak psychically [doubtful], or perhaps they speak by manipulating magnetic fields. And for sight...well, they have no eyes that I can see. They have a place that seems to
My high school is having its finals, and I've been loaded with homework every single day for gosh knows when. I'll be able to get to work on some games once my vacation starts, though. ^^ I think my last game LOWERED my score, though. o_o What's WITH that?
The luck stat is no fully fleshed out? It seems to get me some Lucky Rangers occassionally, but not much more...so I can see the lacking of...fleshed out-ness. I take it that the same goes for Creativity...not being fully fleshed out, I mean. It seems to do NOTHING whatsoever.
Oh, thanks. ^_^ I really appreciate the information. Thank you very much. :)
How are the ranks determined? I mean, like "Ensign," "Fleet Captain," ect. I'm confused as to how I got to my rank, and am very curious as to how this is implemented. Unless it's some kind of big secret we're not supposed to know. Then I understand. :)
What a time for me to take a break from the game. o.o Looks like I need to get to work on some games, doesn't it? I've worked my way up to a galaxy of beginner civs, so I'm doing my best. I hope I can help. I'll go play a medium galaxy right now. Time to get my propoganda machine going! :D No one shall resist the Earthly power of Pepsi and Cocacola, Nike and...uhm...other shoe brands, or Pizza Hut and Subway!
...what's that face supposed to be, anyway? A reverse-vampire with the fangs on the bottom jaw, or something?
Ah. ^^ So I can join anytime I like, then! As for the college football thing...I'll take my chances with losing my sanity. ;p
Excuse me, but I'm still rather new and don't know much of what I need to do here. I live in Illinois, in the midwest of the US, so I fit the empire's theme [I think]. However, I'm somewhat hesitant to join, because I don't know whether I need permission or not. I don't want to do something wrong or get in trouble, so I'm just asking for permission [and if I need permission] to join this empire... Regards. ^^;
I live in Decatur, Illinois, which is located in the USA. ...I'm thinking of moving to Canada after I reach the appropriate age.
Do you think luck could have something to do with these events? I mean...luck is supposed to make things better for you...so if you have high luck, the chances of these events are much less? Oh, by the way, hi. This is kinda my first post here. Not gonna go on, as I don't want to drag this off topic. ^^;;
