Two more ideas: Currently casting enchants on units on strategic screen is a clickfest. It would be nice if you could do a multiple selection of units with the total sum of mana used being displayed and then subtracted upon cast as usual. A "Toggle-select all units" option on town screen would be nice. It would reduce the clickfest factor in case of conquests.

1.) I would like to see a highlighted version of the target area and target itself on tactical map. If a unit is obstructed its outlines should be made visible using a contrast-rich colour (neon green or blue, like in Age of Empires). I really do have a lot difficulties with targeting sometimes on that map even with the ability to rotate since the only indicated is a feint square on the ground (not so good in town screens) and a cursor which may update or may not. 2.) It looks like this: On another note: It would be nice if this game supported mousejailing natively at the moment I have to run Mousenitor for that. Otherwise I like the Beta so far.
I've been a bit disappointed and I am usually very resilient and pain-resistant in terms of design deficits when it comes to TBS games simply because there are not enough of those out there these days. That disappointment however is just a result of stacking frustrations occurring during playing the campaign - I did not play the main game yet because I sincerely hoped for some epic story. In my opinion it would have been better to introduce a pure tutorial map which would also explain
Is there any way to comfortably set up how units are being initially placed on the tactical combat field?
That did the trick! Thanks.
I'm running a dual-monitor setup on my Radeon 5870 under Win7/64 and it appears that even in fullscreen mode when the mouse pointer hits the left border of the screen it will sometimes issue scrolling or just leave the monitor. Any workaround for this?
