You can turn on the Tutorial Popups for the sandbox games from Option/General - if thats any help to you. The popups only occur once when you first encounter something new and some include videos.

+1 to this. I play without saving and would also like the option of remaining dead.

The tutorial is so short as to be disappointing. Instead start a normal game and go to Options/General and activate the "tutorial Popups". Then the popups will occur every time you do something new.

Fallen enchantress has brought me back to Stardock. I was p'ed off with the 4X space games and wanted something more/else. I play Xcom Enemy Unknown and very much like it. However I came across FE during a trip to Steam and, oh boy, it sounded just like the kind of game I have wanted to play since "World of Wonders", "Master of Orion" etc. Knowing about FE's predecessor I was a little wary and borrowed a copy from elsewhere to try out. Would be a good thing if the Beta Testers that worked so hard would give us a few pointers about undocumented things we can do in the game. For example: I have just discovered, through a youtube vid, how to change the build queue order. Have only scratched the surface so far but love the feel and look of the game - thanks to all who worked on it :)

I also couldn't disband the ship... not sure what is intended here or not. [/quote] I stopped my scouts from auto exploring by just clicking on them and giving them e new destination.
