You can enable the tutorial popups for a sandbox game via Options/General. The actual tutorial is somewhat short anyway.

You can turn on the Tutorial Popups for the sandbox games from Option/General - if thats any help to you. The popups only occur once when you first encounter something new and some include videos.
+1 to this. I play without saving and would also like the option of remaining dead.
You had to have purchased it in 2010. By the time you bought it the quality of it was well know.
The tutorial is so short as to be disappointing. Instead start a normal game and go to Options/General and activate the "tutorial Popups". Then the popups will occur every time you do something new.
Simply go to http://download.stardock.com and log in with the account you bought the original game on, and FE should be there waiting for you.
I ended up with 2! Finally got rid of them by taking them into battle .....
Control + Tab gives a hidden interface - achievements.
Fallen enchantress has brought me back to Stardock. I was p'ed off with the 4X space games and wanted something more/else. I play Xcom Enemy Unknown and very much like it. However I came across FE during a trip to Steam and, oh boy, it sounded just like the kind of game I have wanted to play since "World of Wonders", "Master of Orion" etc. Knowing about FE's predecessor I was a little wary and borrowed a copy from elsewhere to try out. Trying the game,
Leo: "the first to start building a Wonder is the one to get it" - thanks for the heads up ... have to change my strategy for this game. That one is a biggie.
Wow - A lot of good stuff here. Very handy for a new player. Thanks all - your input is appreciated.
Thanks Parrotmath - will come in handy when I start placing my own buildings. Great tip moleman99 - I have just been vacuuming up the mobs so far as I didnt know they could "grow".

Leo: Hmm - yes I can see that would be a bit of a chore. However I haven't got to page 2 yet so it is handy for me. I dont usually build big queues in these games anyway - I change my mind too much :)
lol i played it for months and didnt know you could change build queue order how is that possible?
Just click on the city and drag the queue items around in the panel at bottom left :) Handy for when you need something quicker.
Would be a good thing if the Beta Testers that worked so hard would give us a few pointers about undocumented things we can do in the game. For example: I have just discovered, through a youtube vid, how to change the build queue order. Have only scratched the surface so far but love the feel and look of the game - thanks to all who worked on it :)
....snipped..... On a related note I can't seem to figure out how to stop units from "exploring" once I tell them to. I also couldn't disband the ship... not sure what is intended here or not.
I stopped my scouts from auto exploring by just clicking on them and giving them e new destination.
