I expect windows takes the required icons straight out of the windows lls, so the only way to change then would be to hack the dlls and change the icons Which I do not recommend...

Oh I see? So you kinda pay as you go, like a mobile phone. You pay say $10 and every time you download something, the moey is taken from this 'account'. Then when you have, say $2 left, you could pay another $10, so you will have $12 in your account. And then you download something... etc etc

That is a good idea, but what you have to remember is the fact that mist skinners make the skins for themselves, for fun or for a challenge. They then release then to the rest of us just because we might like them too. Maybe someone will do something like you ask, but maybe they won't. Perhaps you should have a go. I'm sure someone could point you in the direction of some tutorials if you're interested. Unfortuantely, I don't know of any offhand.
