Designing a new unit appears to use the sovereign base stats instead of a normal unit stats. So the unit has 40 hitpoints/2 sight, instead of the 10 hitpoints/3 sight upgrading the peasant design would give (which I asssume is what it should be). Also, just upgrading the peasant design but not changing anything adds a turn to production time for some reason.

Yeah; I had to just shake my head sadly when I saw that.
This is especially annoying when trying to deal with enemy units that appear to be in one place but are actually in another.
Does this happen for any type of shard? Or only a particular type?
I like all of these ideas, but I thought I noticed that you could not build a road to a city that is 'indirectly' connected.
I would much rather the sovereign automatically be placed in the city garrison than be displaced like he currently is.
My scout was on auto-explore near another kingdom's border, and the border expanded around him. So I got the popup about declaring war or negotiating or leaving. Since I knew negotiations at that time weren't going to go anywhere, I selected "leave." But then the popup came up again. And again. And again (ad infinitum). Until I finally declared war, just so I would be able to do something. It appears that the border pop completely surrounded my
I've seen this a couple of times, but other times it hasn't happened, so I'm not certain what to report. I always play Parriden, so it's not just a factional thing.
It does not appear that a city's population decreases when demolishing housing. Then new housing just adds to the total, so the maximum population is higher than it should be. For example, I had two kingom huts (for a total population of 35). I then deleted one, and built a new one. Even though I still only had two kingdom huts, I now had a maximum population of 45, and the city leveled up a few turns later (upon reaching 40 population). I have not played aroun
I got a CTD upon defeating a Troll Leader. This has happened twice in a row, so I think there might be something going on. Anyone else seeing something similar?
So far as I can tell, only population (taxes) add to income right now, and each road generates a caravan unit that has 10 gpt cost.
Actually this whole we-will-charge-you-when-we-ship is kind of annoying. If you are serious about buying it is much more convenient to pay up front, when you have the money and a working card, not in some indeterminate moment in the future. Also, you can't you Paypal because of it. Maybe Stardock should make a checkbox for the "Take my money now. Pretty please." option.
On the other hand, if something horrible should hap
