Well, I'm disappointed to see there hasn't been any update to address the theme bugs before my 30-day trial ran out. Given the general patterns of what I've read in the forums, along with the fact that paying for Groupy would not entitle me to any future updates (even bugfixes), I think I'll just have to uninstall and give this a pass until Windows 10 natively supports tabs in Explorer, which may come out later this year.

Yep, I can see that 1.17 doesn't exhibit this issue because it always renders the active tab as black text on a white background.

I have just been trialling Groupy and I was going to make a feature request for the same thing. In much the same way as Firefox has always had about:config settings for the min and max widths allowed for a tab, Groupy could benefit from the same thing. For comparison's sake, Firefox currently renders tabs between 90 and 215px, while Groupy defaults to 170px, which is roughly the same as a Windows taskbar button when labels are turned on.

Actually, no need. I found that using the Change Avatar feature on the Stardock 'My Account' section seemed to do the trick. Oh, as a side note, it's impossible to update avatars on this forum. It requires not only using Flash Player, but also allowing mixed content (HTTP on HTTPS pages). Out of shear curiosity, I did both of these unsafe things to test it out, and it still failed to upload the file (server reported back with error 500).

10.6 seems to be pure cancer for my Windows 7 Ult machine. Literally every program started to crash in succession and would crash instantly upon trying to reload them (even Explorer, and even WindowBlinds Config !). They did so again when I restarted, up until I uninstalled it. I guess I should try going back to 10.5 for now.
