Cyberpunk Green in Skinning WinCustomize Forums

I am currently laying out cursors and icons for a new WindowBlind. The animated cursors are all raytraced in POV-Ray 3.7 and assembled using software I wrote. I am still working on the icons to accompany the skin. A preliminary wallpaper has been created using POV-Ray, data from Wikipedia and Google Maps, and a map texture vectorized in CorelDRAW x6. I am trying to recapture the feel of those hacker films of the mid 90s. UI elements will be raytraced as well when I get to that point. <br

Thanks! btw: I love your avatar. That particular image (or one similar) brings back wonderful memories of programming for the CGA / EGA back in the day. It was a standard image I used for testing my routines.

I picked up the latest Fences today with the purchase of Object Desktop. I was running great and it stopped running. It restarted by itself once and then a little later it stopped and wouldn't start again. The Fences config utility told me it wasn't loaded and might need to be reinstalled. I uninstalled for now. I pretty my organize my desktop manually much in the manner Fences would for me. I may retry it at another time after a few version bumps. Windows 10 Ho

I hand drew some icons. 32x32 for now. I will need to do the 16's and 48's as well. They look better on the blue desktop wallpaper. ;) Only having 16 colors to use, luckily the Commodore palette has black, white, and 3 grays. So I'm sticking with grayscale as much as possible.

I loved OS/2 and OS/2 Warp. Far better multitasking at the time than Windows or DesqView. I ran a four node FidoNet BBS with it and then started using it as the OS on my workstations for a while. Ahhhh memories.

They innovate without trying to find out what the users want. It'd be interesting to see if they did any marketing research on the Metro UI, or if was just someones 'good' idea. Detroit had this problem when Ford unleashed the Edsel. It was a fine automobile, but no one wanted it. :)

While more cleanup to my theme, I noticed in SKS10 Controls -> Toolbars -> Normal Toolbars -> Split Button -> Text tab: * Pressed state is actually disabled state. Controls -> Toolbars -> Normal Toolbars -> Toolbar style menubar button -> Text tab: * Mouseover state is actually disabled state. Controls -> Toolbars -> Places Toolbars -> Button -> Text tab: * Focused state is actually disabled state.

I found it. Setting in WB. Style. Modify Style. Fonts. Do you want to override the font defined for this style? Seems all of my themes have an override there instead of using the font defined by the theme. Problem solved.
