Have you determined why some (including me) cannot get the Volition Cursor FX to load into the program? Update: Avast was blocking it! I closed the protection in Avast and it loaded right away.

I'm in the same position. I've tried to uninstall Icon Packager but then I havethe "missing shell" problem and I have to recover using Acronis. I just leave it installed now but I can't use it; I get the 'not for this operating system' error message. Not much help I know. I havn't tried this resolution: " This worked... <span sty

My Stardock and Wincustomize subscriptions are up for renewal. I was using Window Blinds and Icon Packager everyday. Is there an ETA in the updates for Window Blinds and Icon Packager for Windows 10? I need to know whether or not to renew subscriptions. Thanks so much!</spa
@Sosiosh There's one small difference Start10 adds to the Win10 start menu, and I'll post back later what it is, that might make it more convenient for users. You can still utilize the Win 10 start menu with start10, just select the option for the default win start menu on the main settings page. Start10/ slightly modifies the location layout of the options on the left ha

Quick note: Icon Packager is working (so far) on my recent Windows 10 Pro 64-bit installation. WindowBlinds 8, no. I uninstalled WindowBlinds 8, ModernMix, Decor8 and Start8. I like the Windows 10 start menu so I won't be moving to Start10. Stardock is great! I have no problem waiting for the new updates so I can skin again. [e digicons][/e]

Does anyone know how to make sure Office 365 (15) is NOT skinned? I've tried all the former things that worked with WindowBlinds and Office but I'm unable to find the resource, the EXE file, that will allow me to ignore skinning for each of the 365 applications. Some blinds are fine but when using a darker blind (e.g. Venom) I can't seem to fine the right file to tell WB to ignore. thank

Log out and back in and let me know if it's still an issue.
Wow! Gone!! Thanks Zubaz [e digicons]\o/[/e] [e digicons]5*[/e] [e digicons]:sun:[/e]
It's mostly some type of browser issue. Adblock is not friendly with WC, and again, I remind people that ads are one of the main ways WC supports itself. Blocking them only takes away income from the site.
My point: I paid to have the ads removed. I don't use ad block on the WC site since I use IE to access it. The adds are still there even though I paid to have th

Here is the quote from the renew subscription email sent 1/24/2012 (I had already renewed): " One of the new features with a WinCustomize Subscription is that subscribers will have ad-free browsing. Those annoying ad banners go away, freeing up screen space to

I thought if we buy a subscription to WC there wouldn't be any ads. I have a minimum of three ads on each page and it's really slow loading. My WC subscription is paid through 1/9/2013. Can these ads be removed?

Are there skins for it yet? I ordered my "7"copy from NewEgg yesterday and it'll be here tomorrow! I tried it on another PC and it's GREAT! Lot's better than Vista; it has a smooth feel to it, seems to load faster, etc. [e digicons]:D[/e]

So this would be the milestone marker where we start to pretend Vista never existed (just like ME)?
Vista??? Did they ever come out with that service pack? ;) I understand MS would like W7 to be 64-bit to 256-bit. Any word on their progress to >64-bit?

Thanks replaceme2 for your hard work. I use a lot of graphics software and wondered if Vista x64 would be better than XP x64. I have yet to see XP x64 crash and have pushed it well beyond my expectations of limits. I am so glad Stardock supports this OS. I am still looking forward to 2012 to retool with the new Windows, SSDs, cloud computing, x256 etc. and I might even be a better artist by then :d
