The black market is fixed again! I was really, really hoping that this would be changed for 1.04.

Now that activision and blizzard are one, stardock is the only non-bigass corporation on that list.
Earlier today I was trying to send a whisper to my friend Lord Exile. However when I was sending the message, the game kept telling me that there was no user named Lord online. Is there a way to send whispers to people with spaces in their names?
Was just wondering if modding tools are going to be included like in the political machine, or are going to have to be fan-developed like with Galciv1
Anti-Death Penalty Protestors Land in Iraq Concerned that Saddam Hussein might be facing the death penalty if convicted, hundreds of Bay Area anti-death penalty advocates landed in Baghdad to voice their opposition to capital punishment. Several of the group were upset because of the media’s insistence on referring to the protestors as “anti-death.” “We are not anti-death, we are pro-life,” claimed one of the lead protestors. “You mean you came to Iraq to
This selfish modmaker was hoping that he would be mentioned, but oh well, you get an insightful rating anyways :).
I game very sneaky, and very deceptively. I've never been able to defeat someone in a head-on battle in any game unless I've had tons of practice, so I use what I call "Sneaky-Ninja-Assassin" style. Since I've noticed that not many people use this strategy(which may be a good thing...), I've decided to share my tips. Use these on any games that your having trouble with. Strategy 1.( TBS ) Don't declare war until your ships are positioned. This doesn't work as well in multi
Most gamers have favorite games. I don't. I have a too hard decision deciding between which games I like better. I'll bring in two games in no particular order(These aren't even necessarily my favorites, they're just good examples) from the categories I play: FPS, Strategy, RPG, and Action. First Person Shooters: 1. Deus Ex. Got this one when the GOTY version came out. Engrossing singleplayer, and tons of replayability. I've probably replayed this one 5 or 6 times, and I'm stil
Not just good. Great!
You know what would be awesome? A link to my blog, like my link to yours...
I can't wait for this baby to come out! And If you don't have time for testing, I'd love to do it. It would be great to get my mitts on this one early.
To be a gamer, you have to own games. To own games you have to buy games. And to buy games you have to go shopping. Whether you buy your games online or at the store, you're still getting that joyful feeling that you get as you peruse through the aisles(or web pages) looking at all of the games. I, like many other gamers, love that feeling. To share that magical feeling with others, I've decided to write this article about how I get my games. About 75% of my games come from the closest
I'm a gamer. Probably many of those who are reading this are gamers, or at least make games(Go Stardock!). I've been wanting to write an article about gaming for some time now, and I finally got over my Diablo 2 addiction long enough for me to get started. This will be split into many parts, each of which will be (hopefully) considerably long. This first article won't have much about games, I'll write another blog later today for part 2. This article will probably get to many parts, including:<B
If only the real movie was like this...
Theres an incosistancy here... When a ship uses it's own emp, its still alive, but when It gets hit by anothers its disabled.
Well Russelmz, they obviously have the technology to protect something very close to an EMP blast I.E. the hovercraft never shut down when hit by the emp. As for teh usage of teh, I am starting to cut down on it.
Bah! It's easy to protect another EMP from an EMP blast!
GreenReaper, logger of teh stardock chatrooms, just suffered a hard disk death. I lost all me lines on #Galciv, and #Stardock, but thats okay, because everyone else lost their lines too. Which means: I have teh power to rise to number one much quicker! This turn of events makes everything so much easier. On another note, I saw teh Matrix 3 on Wednsday. Unlike everyone else, I didn't ending up hating it, or even thinking that it was a bad movie. I thought that the action scenes were in
Teh isn't just a typo... Its a way of life!
Ty ta both of ya!
Great job on teh map editor! I'm really looking forwaed to making some scenarios.
Now how do you do that?
I have about 50 minutes, from 2:20 to 3:10 whenever I get home. While I usually use this time to peruse the Galciv Forums and chat on the Stardock Channels, recently some other things have popped into my mind. There seems to be so many options now that I've started to really think about it. It's so hard to make a decision between: (in no particular order) 1. Blogging. It's pretty fun writing articles about what's happening in my life. I don't get to express myself all that much, and blo
I disagree with that the age contributes to the atmosphere. I'm much younger than 25 and I am still an active community member, and I have been pretty civil as well. Also, this article seems to be posted twice.
The Metaverse. Once a peaceful and tranquil place where the only fighting was among the empires for points, has now been turned into a place of turmoil. As one of the original empire-hoppers, way back, before everyone started switching empires, I feel a duty to give my opinion on this. Lets start when I first empire-hopped. The metaverse was a well established place already. It was during the summer, so it was much more active than it was now. I was just playing an normal level of game
