I just had two "out of memory" error windows popup. Not sure if that was just a weird error, or if it means something more. The goodies - http://dl.dropbox.com/u/3083208/elemental_82.zip
Thats just great, this is the first time i've ever heard that early Beta Access closes for any game from pre purchase. That was my reason for ordering early. But I guess I'm out of luck since I had no clue that you guys would close the beta despite for those pre ordering. So I'm disappointed for ordering early for this game then. I cant even get a refund either from the Returns Policy. I'm disappointe
I believe the beta is closed completely now. You will just need to wait until the final release this month.
That means that if I reinstall the OS a lot, everytime I've got "to ask" for permission to use the game again. This is what I don't consider fair, even not taking into account the possibility to receive "no!" as an answer. Frankly, it doesn't seem like a "trollish" complaint, to me.
You are not asking for permission, activation is basically just verifying your purchased game. Which in reality if it is a legit purchase, then there is nothing to worry a

Here I'll start a fresh game right now and then tell you when it happens in that one and post it.
I can almost say the same thing about
I will post mine here since this is a good reference thread. I have an ATI HD 5800 series card with latest drivers. Windows 7 x64 with AMD quad-core. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/3083208/Elemental_730.zip

Good stuff. [e digicons][/e]
I'd like to play it, but too much on the plate at the moment. Will grab it in a couple of months or so. [e digicons]>_>[/e]
I'm not aware of any retail outlets in South Africa at the moment, but that is a good question though. I would need to ask next week, but as Pantasd said, shipping is available and ordering digitally as well.
One of my favorites from way back when. Starflight for C64
Peggle for short-plays, and Gal Civ II for longer adventures. :)
Since they're in direct competition with PC games, no it's not. You're saying that you don't like the current market leader on an open platform because they might close the platform, so you're going to a closed platform instead. The market signal sent here is pretty clear: locked down console versions where nobody can compete with the console makers network are better then the market picking a winner on the PC.
Wow, you are putting too many words in my mouth.

I assume you are wanting to build?
But being forced to use PSN or Xbox Live is particularly better? Consoles are a closed platform entirely. The PS3 version will do what Sony allows, when and how Sony allows it. You're flat out not allowed to compete with PSN if you want to make a PS3 game.
Apples and oranges in regards to the topic of discussion here.
Be sure to "Like" and retweet it!
So, your point is to buy PS3 version just to fuck Steam?
Let me be clear here that this is my personal opinion alone. On principle, yes I would rather buy the PS3 version rather than being forced to use Steamworks. To say I'm not supporting PC gaming is nonsense. I spend more on PC games than console games hands-down, with the great majority bought from Impulse. I personally feel vendor-neutral solutions like Impulse::Reactor a

I'm seeing a few questions being posted on how to get started with the Elemental beta. In most cases you just need to enable "pre-release versions" in the Impulse preferences so you can see and download the beta. This is a quick overview on how to do that, and I will pin it to the forums for future reference. <img style="display: block; float: none;
I'm seeing everything OK, is it working for you now?
There hasn't been an "official" trailer as of yet, but you can check the Stardock YouTube for some of the beta videos and such. http://www.youtube.com/stardockgames
The easiest way for both us to verify, and for you to submit, is to post a screenshot like this. For anyone concerned that one person got points for not an exact link, it really evens out because they won't get double credit for posting it again. <img class="embeddedObject" src="http://content.screencast.com/users/sscott/folders/Snagit/m
