There are several people who moderate the points, and when there are 200+ submissions just for Facebook, it can get confusing.

If I can see your profile or your name clearly on something external that was "liked" then points are awarded.
As for the iPad being instant on what about the time it takes to lock on to a 3G or WiFi signal and the time it takes to input a password?
You don't need to continuously enter a password, and the signal is already detected while it "sleeps". Instant-on.
So it works for you and your applications. It would not work for me and it's way too expensive.
You are right, it is probably not for you, but to say it is a "mediocre"
You can check this post for info on how to post reports. https://forums.elementalgame.com/364285 :)
For Facebook likes, points are being awarded mostly for "liking" external articles such as this one from IGN recently. For most people, if you "like" this page then it will show on your Facebook profile.
I'm convinced more than ever that people just don't understand, nor care to, the point of devices like this.
Let us know what you picked up with your coupon code. :)
Make sure you have "show pre-release versions" checked in Impulse preferences. Elemental will show up when the next beta round is opened. Also, keep an eye on the front page for news about the beta.
Once beta access is given, then it will show up in Impulse. Make sure you have "show pre-release versions" checked in preferences. https://forums.elementalgame.com/380237 You can also keep an eye on the forums or Elemental front page as the news will definitely be posted.
June 10 update posted. Gorstagg - Kryo was right, it was my mistake that some legit ones were deleted and he kindly took care of it.
Also, please don't report threads from months ago. The focus is more on current and future activity (particularly insightful or helpful posts), or those on other sites that bring attention to Elemental.
[e digicons]k1[/e]
Since the launch of the Elemental Army promotion we have seen great participation. Although the overwhelming majority of participants have been submitting valid links for their participation, there have also been some trying to game the system. With that we have made some changes (thanks to kestral2040) for the dev work). These include updates so it is easier to see who is submitting duplicate links and such, among other admin-side improvements. We are also
From this point on we aren't awarding points for random Digg links. If we post a news story about Elemental, and it is put on Digg we will link to it, and those will be awarded points.
lol, if somebody goes to fast up in the ranks than that is because of those dig things. i even don't know what they mean with dig
Digg linking is going to be revamped, most likely points will only be rewarded for digging Digg stories we link to. More info later.
One of the points about the Army is that we are just trying to reward fans for what they were doing already. People were already making blog/forum posts, people were already fans of Elemental on Facebook, etc. We do not want people to spam forums, and I haven't seen any of that at all so far.
Were you able to work it out?

Let me mention that participation on Elemental forums would initially get some general points, but reporting every single reply made on the Elemental forums will not go toward new points. We are looking to spread the word outside. :)

There are several people who moderate the submissions. At times things might slip through, but we are well aware of some who are trying to game the system. :)
Quoting DoomBringer90, reply 17 I have a question about the rules, as well. Can quests be completed multiple times? Like Digging multiple articles, or adding Elemental to multiple wishlists, etc. The rules are rather unclear about that.
If they are different articles on Digg for example, sure. Just not multiple submissions for the same thing.
It's always good to know about the spiders. ;)
GameSpot.com has a quick update Q&A with Brad Wardell about the current status of Elemental: War of Magic. "Brad Wardell: We're nearing the end of the first beta of the game. Our focus has been to work through the game mechanics to make sure what seems fun on paper will translate to fun in-game. Specifically, we have been working on the battle system, quests, and the player's dynasty. The dynasty system has proven to be far more interesting than we had realized"</blockquo

Shacknews.com has a fantastic, and very informative interview with Stardock CEO, Brad Wardell, on the upcoming PC game Elemental: War of Magic . “Shack: [laughs] We should cover Elemental before we get into that. Now, there aren't many companies that are still making these kinds of games anymore. Do you take a conservative approach in figuring out whether your audience can support a game like this, or do you just
