KK thanks for the back story Heavenfall!

Im using the Living Stone right now and they sure are interesting. I made a pioneer to come get some Elementium Ive found...and I waited...and waited...finally went looking for the them. LOL didnt know they had a movement of 1 haha. I had forgotten they were made out of stone and would move slower, so I enjoyed that(well...not really enjoyed, but you know...) Thanks for the explanation on the grinders. Ive never been able to play a game lon
Wow this looks awesome. Will DL and try it out right away. I think what you have done here is really make the races different and it gives a great new feeling to the game! thanks much for the hard work. One other question, and perhaps it should be in the other forum, but what exactly do the Elementium Grinders, do? Do the produce a unique metal to use in magical uber weaspons, or do they just produce alot more iron ore? Was this somet
All the feedback here is neat to see and read. My only comment is really on the goodie huts and resources that Ive seen(or not seen). Since the new beta and its patches, ive now seen in my games, almost the complete disappearance of resources and goodie huts. I get my 1 land and some shards around my main city, and then after that, good luck finding anything. Im not saying that is a biad thing in a shattered world, but once you start unlocking the techs to find more re
KK thanks so much and thanks for all the hoard work on the mods. You do real good work and if you have a team, give pizza and root beer all around!
when new patches come out, will this mod and others break? Im thinking it might depend on what they change, but since Im trying to test out the game, Im trying to limit outside things that could cause problems...even though I like this mod and others.
Its really great seeing that the AI is now using weapons and armor. You certainly pulled it out of the fire on vid 4 haha. GJ! Im just curious though, you must be using a much more stable build then the beta that is out, because if I play with more than 3 AI, I crash. Im glad to see that you arent, because that means(hopefully) we will be getting a much more stable version to test. I can play very long games with 1 or 2, but that isnt as much fun. They also
LOL if I hadn't got killed I would have killed them! LOL Great statement there Frog. I do have to admit, that I have had to guard my cities more, which I dont mind much. And in some games, the animal attacks can get fierce. Good fun though. So from you above example it seems the AI isnt attacking each other? Any idea if the monsters are attacking them? This is something I always wonder in games, does the same monsters, barbs, or what not attack them a
Well so far with 1 AI I have played a 2.5 hour game...unreal. I wonder what is happening with more AI to cause the game to crash? The AI too, is not bright and is constantly at war with me even if they have a 1pt lead over me. What is funny, is their military is a joke and Im basically slaughtering them. I hope they take a look at the AI, in time of course, and makes some changes. Still, is fun to go thru all the techs and see the different stuff.
I understand and thank ya for your hard work!!
DL'd this and really enjoy it and well done to everyone who made this. Have a few questions if you dont mind. 1-Since population is now a resource and the elves seem to be limited to 1 of each building, do you think elves will get behind in tech and money quickly? The only solution is to then build lots of elven cities, but I think at some point that would be too much. The 2 games Ive played(testing out to see if i crash) I have played about 100 season
I agree with that and as for #2 I found out something. I founded a new city and took one over and both had 0 pop. Dropped a few huts(1 each) and a few seasons later the population took off and started growing. I wonder if the pop really isnt 0 but is rounded down or something to display 0. I was concerned but after building some huts I had populaton. There was also something in the tooltip that I think said something about a housing shortage, so maybe something i
AS most everyone was, I was super excited for the new beta, partly because i love testing, and secondly just because its making this game better. I spent the first day playing and crashing about every 15 mins or so or about 20 seasons. I had prepared myself for that and spent alot of time discussing with others the features in the chat and asking questions to Cari who Im sure thought I was crazy...especially about my seeing a female character in the game and that character automat
Once they get the beta a bit more stable for me, ill be trying this out. As is, since I usually can only play for about 30 turns Im waiting for some updates and hoping.
Yup good idea and great doing it...
I usually have to move the unit I want to buff out of my army with my sov onto a square by themselves, cast the buff, then move back together. Not a good way to do things. Im sure they will fix this.
i had this bug happen to and as I tracked it down it came down to he Civ Pariden(sp?). For some reason that civ couldnt found a kingdom. The ruler was ok, when I took her with another civ, but when I used Pariden. I was in chat and Let Cari know, but another players said that civ worked fine for them. Not sure what this means. Maybe you can track it down more and we can see if its one civ in particular or it varies.
It means you have buildings that are taking or using up 10 citizens. Some(if not all) buildings now use your population as a resource and the ones I have seen take 5 each. So you have a pop of 20, but only 10 left for other buildings now...but dont worry, your population will go up and that will give yo more citizens to use in buildings or what not.
Saw you talking about this in chat today while talking to Cari, and I would be interested in it as well.
Is the plan then for enchantments to drain the global mana pool like MoM did when you cast enchantments on cities and units? I hope so. This would be a great thing to happen. I wonder then too, if you could make randoms like they had in MoM, where sometimes mana would go out, or holy would double and so on. Those kind of random events never bothered me too much as they didnt feel personally used against me for being ahead in the game. Though if the mana out event
What??!! I cant leave cities undefended...will obviously this beta needs more work then!! (/sarcasm off) Thats good to hear...actually having to defend our cities...awesome. Of course, i do wonder what he means by nasty...
ACK!!! ok well thanks for letting us know. I can now go back to....something haha!
Looks like its been awhile since any postings here. How is the progress?
Lord Frog, you are right on brand new games. Even some "new" games could be just a new twist on whats out there. You guys have stepped out and away, into the Fantasy strategy realms. I have no doubt you will get this to be where you want it and meanwhile, those of us who love to play games, love to test, and basically love games(did I say that one already?) will get to see this change and grow. I feel like an uncle, watching my brothers or sisters child be born and gro
I cant wait for this myself, as I enjoyed beta testing the game and still enjoy doing more of the same. Im awaiting for its release and would like to show my appreciation to STardock and all the people here who support it through good suggestions and feedback. If this makes me a fanboy or what not...fine with me. Ive never seen another game company that I can chat with them on their forums before. They will get this fixed and we can be along for the ride. H
