I have tried to submit a couple of games without success. I am not sure why. Is it sensitive that the Alias you specify on the submission screen in the game must match a registered user or is it tied to the email address? I may have screwed myself up royally somehow by using two different email addresses. Can someone help? Thanks,
Thanks for the reply. I will try to resubmit a game I had saved just before the end. After doing that I will post to the sticky and see if it can be resolved then. And yes I did register. BTW, great game and the metaverse is a great concept so do not read a critcism into my email. I just want to join all the fun! :CONGRAT:

1. No, simply means that if you are running at a higher resolution than 1024x768 (the game size) then it will be in a window (still at 1024x768) as opposed to consuming the entire screen. 2. Must be running higher resolution than 1024x768 and be 16bit color (I think).

Two newbie type of questions. 1. I have a ship in space and set it to sector sweep with auto repeat. Well it moves for a turn our two but soon becomes a ship that I get prompted to move even though it still says sector sweep under the ship. Why does it not just keep moving and moving on its' own? 2. Governors, how do you use them or know if you are using them? What do they really do? Thanks
Not sure if this one has been reported or not. But I wiped out one of the minor races which ended with an invasion. After a traditional invasion in which I won the movie came up with text with the ships closing in on the planet. Press 'Done' and the next movie comes up with different text about ground and air superiority. However, the movie is the same as the previous one. It should be the movie with the ship zooming over the ground and overheard and then shooting the city. I know this
I am colorblind as well. Although I have to tell you that currently I am so busy learning the basic mechanics of the game I have not noticed it yet. But I am sure I will. With SMAC (Alpha Centauri) this problem existed as well because of terran. Firaxis came out with a later patch that fixed it fortunately.
I can longer build anything because I have no resources. Stupid question, but how to I get more?
Thanks for all the pointers, I will give them a try. My biggest problem seems to be running out of money and going into red. I am used to other TBS where you go off and mine other planets (building miners), asteroids, etc. Thanks Although, things did get so bad that my population revolted and a new government formed and I suddenly now have close the 10,000bc? There I said it. I have yet to win a game or even do half way decent. I am not saying the game is bad or anything. Rather I just have not figured it out yet. Otherwise I am enjoying it for now.

I hate to ask about this. I know that it must have been asked a million times. But, how about it? Is there a good tutorial out there? I am having a hard time getting the overall pictures.
