Oh yea, this happened in 0.913
Malloreon
Savegame: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/9164057/FE/lala.EleSav In this savegame the player immediatly faces tactical combat. During this combat, when inspecting an enemy (or presumably also a friendly unit), a diplomacy screen will pop up. Ever after this combat will not progress correctly. After selecting actions, the units will stand around without doing anything until you inspect a unit again. This keeps on happeni
I've noticed that issue too, in a similar way (I have a savegame showing just that, in case that would be useful): AI Monster chased AI Player Pioneer - AI Player builds city - AI Monster stands next to city for many turns, doing nothing.
Backing this game too, there are some cool things being done with Kickstarter - hope this turns out great!
A seperate screen for city building has been on the very top of my wish-list for years now. Cleaner look on the map Possibility for sieges No more weird movement behaviour for traveling units Possibility for controlled city-size on the map, based on city level I like to think back to Master of Orion 2 and Civ 3 (might have been 2 or 4, they are a blur by now) for examples of how to do this well.
Staffs that add Spells to their unit (limited uses per battle), eg: Heal, Fireball, Teleport (within Tactical Map), etc. Improvable Mage Tower for Stay-at-home Sovereign (complete with Ability for Sov to cast Spells in distant battles, and to earn XP for those Spells) Barracks-type Building that gives 1xp per turn to Trained Units, up to a max level of 3 (higher levels come only through combat)
And another crash. Zip: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/9164057/FE/FallenEnchantress0_85-2012-02-25T00-57-27-136.zip Debug: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/9164057/FE/debug%20%285%29.err

Nr. 4 - updated graphics drivers somewhere in between those crashes. Zip: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/9164057/FE/FallenEnchantress0_85-2012-02-24T16-48-01-847.zip ^ Debug: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/9164057/FE/debug%20%283%29.err
Maybe I'm misunderstanding you, but shouldn't this 0.86 feature be a first step in solving the issue in point 7? AI: + Tactical AI will look at who it can attack when it runs out of moves
And yet another one, while moving around the map. Zip File: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/9164057/FE/FallenEnchantress0_85-2012-02-24T16-06-48-25.zip Debug: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/9164057/FE/debug%20%282%29.err
Got another CTD, Zipe File: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/9164057/FE/FallenEnchantress0_85-2012-02-24T15-37-33-97.zip Debug: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/9164057/FE/debug.err Hmm, is it possible for you guys to say when you took those files? Just noticed I still had stuff from the WoM Beta in my Dropb

Ah cool, funny that thats being looked at just now, because the same happened a few years back when I first tried it.
I don't see a non-specific support forum anywhere, so I figured I'll just ask here. Whenever I try to upload a picture for my forum avatar I get a 401 error. Any idea what that is? The rules are smaller than 40kB, no more than 100x100, and either .jpg. or .png. My file is 16.6kB, 78x100, and .png.
[quote who="Heavenfall" reply="12" id="3089846"] Suggestion 1) Wages for units stationed in cities are reduced by 75%. This creates a high cost of attack, but a low cost of defense. It allows turtling AI to maintain a reasonable army while not giving up all its tech and gildar income to do so. Suggestion 2) Trained units gain 75%-100% less experience. This will prevent the player from accruing high level troops while the AI does nothing. Suggestion 3) The Sovereign
Hmm, how about this for champions: In order to make people want to spread Champions around, battle XP could be split between Champions, but NOT between regular units - regular units would always get the full XP of a battle. (The Sovereign should aways get a portion of the XP though - I still think there should be big incentives to leave the main guy at home and do sorcerous things in his Tower of Doom)
Here are a bunch of crash reports (finally found them). 0.75: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/9164057/FE/FallenEnchantress0_75-2012-01-20T19-31-27-847.zip http://dl.dropbox.com/u/9164057/FE/FallenEnchantress0_75-2012-01-20T20-50-02-888.zip <a href="http://dl.dropbox.com/u/91
I agree completely, posted about that too. I definitely expect escape to exit me from all menus, and then to toggle me between the options and main game screens.
I subsequently converted an unimproved Air Shard to a Death Shard - building a Shrine on that worked. However I still cannot build on that converted Shrine. Here is a Savegame for it: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/9164057/Death%20Shard%20by%20Blackstead.EleSav Not sure if you need the Debug file, so here it is too: http://dl.dropbox
After using Corruption to convert a Shard (that was already built on) to a Death Shard, I was not able to use said Shard anymore.
I have come to expect that hitting the ESC keywill exit me out of whatever screen I am in and return me to the main screen of whatever game I am playing - In FE (and WoM) however, I keep on finding myself in the Game Options screen without a quick way out. Hitting the ESC key while in the main screen should bring me to the Game Options screen - and of course hitting the ESC key in the Game Options screen should return me back to the main screen.
Oh, I remember the game not letting me delete Peasant units back in the day - so maybe there is a tag that lets us prevent users from accidentally deleting these required units.
Heaven, do you know a tag I could put into the original unit, which I can then use as a in different weapons? For example, all my Swordmasters would get the tag 'Malloreon-Elven-Swordmaster' now I would put Malloreon-Elven-Swordmaster> into several different equipment files to limit options.
Awesome work, cant wait to see more.
