For me, the beta has run smoothly without crashing, aside from some lag issues in multiplayer over Hamachi. I'm running XP x64 on an Athlon X2 4600+ with 4GB and a Radeon x1950, and the game is great in 1600x1200 with everything but AA set to high.
Despite showing 'aborted'. They do the same when killed while using a skill.
Edge scrolling would be nice, though remember that you can hold the middle mouse button to scroll as well.
I have the same issue. To be more specific, the tooltip briefly appears (with sound effect) every time the mouse cursor arrives at a new location over the icon. If the cursor is still, the tooltip is missing.
There are a few minor issues with the eject player dialog. First, and most annoyingly, the column containing the 'eject from game' options starts on the header row, so that clicking the option to the right of a given player ejects the player below them. Second, the clickable area to eject someone is small in comparison to the 'eject from game' text. Third, text runs off the right side of the dialog box.
As the title says. It's rather disconcerting to be rotating the viewpoint around a ship or planet, only to have it start to shift wildly once the cursor reaches a side of the screen. Disabling scrolling while in the focus locked camera mode would be nice. Well, the 'zoom to cursor disabled' mode, anyway.
I haven't played many multi-galaxy games so far, but I've yet to see AIs spawn outside of the initial one where I start.
They glow on my system using a 9800 Pro and latest Catalyst drivers.
I concur, a clock showing session/real time would be great. Alarms would be nice too.
