odd tip for getting rid of tooltip popups in WinCustomize Talk WinCustomize Forums

I hate tooltip popups. If a button is labeled it would still popup with an identical tooltip.Thats what the status bar is for.Plus it usually contains more info.Searched the web for a solution but never found one.(like a registry tweak or checkbox)But if you have winamp 2.9(or 2.x whatever)And run an input plugin called NICE MC ,for some reason,no more popups! the glitch in the code seems to have no other problems.I just set winamp to start with windows.This dosnt work with winamp 3 and nice mc

Will do jcg. My skin had a rollup height problem so i fixed it and updated it.Now its gone.Does it take time for it to come back up?Also...is there any way to skin the mouseover on more programs ?

Apocalypse, you have 3 very cool winamp skins. Got the clock! Had to set both normal AND normal(wb3x)Guess i will have to pay more attention to wb3x settings and make them match. QUUESTION:how long does a skin usually take to complete?This is my first and probably have 30 or 40 hours in it already.(tho nearly done with a lot of learning curve.)

thanks fot the info on the start menu hippie. STILL cant get clock to change. Knew it was possible because i have seen it in other skins.(and it looks cool)I thought i saw a setting for default system type font but it might have just been for color.Am looking for it now.Will let you know if i find it.(Frustrating that skinstudio will let you specify fonts for the start menu but wont apply them.I noticed other skin authors have tried this too)opened up other skins and found the settings there bu

just realized i got a response from the great and holy pixtudio ! i use some of your skins . they were a great inspiration for this,my first skin. almost done. lots of frustration at times but have been able to solve all problems til now. thanks for any help.

set it separately for clock no luck the fonts for start menu show in the skin editor but they dont show up actually on the start menu sorry for the late reply didnt expect to get responses so fast thank you! titlebar did accept the fonts
