So you think, that reviewing a book of a person her husbnd had a very public "disagreement" is the right thing to do? You don't think it brings up questions? Any reasonable person would think that. I don't understand why she did that review, posted on amazon and made sure all her buddies on Qt3 could see a post about the review, it really seems spiteful. Her motives should be in question in this situ
It's called decency.
From where I'm sitting it looks more like a very ugly lashing out, championed by a Stardock employee no less, against a woman who said critical things in a reasonable manner. The personal attacks, the way her motives have been put in question, the way people have ignored what she said and focused on who she is, that is childish.
That thread is really depressing. Are these adults?
You know, reading this thread got me thinking the same thing. The number of people willing to go to bat for a bad novel is astounding.
Check out the asshole parade in that thread. It's hilarious. They're obsessed with Brad Wardell. Holy f*ck what a pathetic show of human waste. I like the part how the lady who reviewed the book acts like she just decided to pick up the book at random without mentioning that her review decision came up right after her husband got banned from the site for stalking Brad. That's right up there with having your mom review the book bu
"Unamommer" is Angie Gallant, the wife of Mike Gallant who was banned from Quarter To Three for continually stalking Brad in every thread. They see anyone who doesn't share their political views as racist and evil and have pretty much said as much on Quarter To Three.
Stardock (or at least Brad) believes the game to be "finished" and so do a lot of other people. The problem is they get overwhelmed by everyone else because they're usually playing/enjoying the game.
Or, conversely, there will always be a small fraction who will enjoy any game. I'll say this though, to claim that the version Stardock released of Elemental to stores was considered to be finished by Stardock
When did “2. Gamers shall have the right to demand that games be released in a finished state.” turn into "2. Gamers shall have the right that games they purchase shall function as designed without technical defects that would materially affect the player experience. This determination shall be made by the player." I'm assuming the edit came along to coincide with the release of Elemental, not that the edited version does Elemental any
