I'm really enjoying it so far but I really would like a electoral vote counter on the side based on the current polling data. Also add a screen capture feature (F12 for screenshot). And maybe automatically generate one at the end of the election so I can the electoral vote breakdown? For those who didn't noticed there are PMIssueEditor.exe and PMQuestionEditor.exe in the PolMachine\Data folder, it may require some dlls, just google th

Are there any plans to put a electoral vote counter on the main interface? Base it on the current polling data? Could fit nicely on the right side.
After Stardock Central updated itself it started working. Thanks a lot
And they elect a nonvoting delegate to the United States House of Representatives, two shadow senators, and one shadow representative. http://www.grc.dc.gov/grc/cwp/view,a,1203,q,447121,pm,1,grcnav_gid,1424,.asp
D.C. gets 3 electoral votes, http://www.uselectionatlas.org/USPRESIDENT/state.php?year=2000&fips=11
There was an error installing the Political Machine. The following error occured: Download: C:\Program Files\Stardock\SDCentral\temp\pm.zip 0 (attempt: 3 - http error -8) Result: Installation failed Would you like to view the installation log file? ----------------------------------------------- So, what's wrong?
Where did you guys stick the D.C. delegate at? Maryland?
You get the game as well, not just the demo. You also get Galactic Civilizations which was retailing for around $30, the Galactic Civilizations expansion, and the Corporate Machine, and anything they release for like 18 months (someone correct me if I'm wrong).
Been having a lot of fun, only one CTD and I have the SmartException log for it if you want to tell me where to post it/send it. A screen from one of my recent victories on the simple difficulty: Link
Also, is there a "proper forum" to go to report bugs?
I'm on Windows 2000 SP4 and it'll run.
It would be interesting to have primaries in the game but I don't think they're going to include them in the first version of the game, perhaps an expansion pack later on?
I just wish it was an easier and quicker way to get out of neutral in the smaller maps besides waiting for the random events (the non colonization ones). Also I like the UP issues and wish they would come up more often. ~SDC~ [Message Edited]
Is it possible to increase the occurrence rate of random events and United Planets issues? ~SDC~
Can you add numbers to who voted for what? Those colors make no sense to me. Also, can't wait for the beta to come out. *Does the Drengin.net dance.*
Let's see if I can explain this better. I purchase a social improvement on a planet, its removed from the list, I hit the end turn button and I go back to the planet screen to purchase another social improvement and the "Purchase" button doesn't appear. If I set the improvement to start building, next turn the "Purchase" button appears. Also I'm getting the improvement showing up at the beginning of the turn repeatedly even with the social rating at 50%. ~SDC~
That happened to me too Staffa. ~SDC~
I don't know if this is intentional or not but it seems that a building has to be in production for a turn before you can purchase it. Using 1.04 public release. ~SDC~
The ability to purchase an infinite number of social improvements is fixed in 1.04. ~SDC~
I think the social projects that add planetary defense help with troop invasion. ~SDC~
Opps, nevermind. ~SDC~
I recently upgraded to Drengin.Net and the new games show up to download but the GalCiv beta updates don't. ~SDC~
I was thinking of upgrading to Drengin Network. If I upgrade I get free updates and whatnot for 18 months plus The Corporate Machine, LightWeight Ninja, Stellar Frontier, and The Political Machine when its released right? ~SDC~
I didn't read the whole thread but I would like to be able to turn down a system that flips to you by culture. You might not want to inherit someone else's problem. ~SDC~
Thank you, you guys are the first company that I've seen that actually care about your consumers. ~SDC~
