I think one thought left out is the MUSIC. I was a fan of the quirky alien races background music, as well as the quasi-space theme. I listened to Hot Chip "Night and Day" and somehow thought of the Orz. Not that anyone has big pockets to afford them (Hot Chip) - but thinking electronic fun music like this is the way to go - or the way to continue. Thanks.
