strange - in none of my 1.2 games I ever seen these Lucky Finds ever again- had there been some sort of notice of something happening, now all that seems to be gone I had never experienced one until the latest Beta. Now I am "finding" a RANGER every few turns. Usually, I immediately give it to my weakest ally.
Are you playing the 1.3 beta? There is a memory bug in the first 1.3 beta that will be fixed in the next update. Any guess as to when we can expect that update?
Mine game (1.3beta) is doing the same. And now it is crashing on saves (runs out of memory.....) I know it's a beta release, but geez...... Maybe future ones should come with a stronger warning, like: don't ever trust a stardock beta release.
I've noticed that fleets made up from obsolete ships have a blank icon. Disbanding and then recreating the fleet results in a blank icon :S This is happening to me as well. Only it is not just obsolete ships. ALL fleets are showing a blank thumbnail/icon, as soon as 2 or more ships are formed into a fleet.
I just want the AI's to stop surrendering at the first whiff of blood.....
Recently, we've been blessed with a number of great wargames like Crown of Glory Hold on. Have you actually played Crown of Glory? I have. And in my opinion it is a terrible game. And its "political and dipplomatic" system is one of the games most screwed up features.
