60 hours or playtime, not seeing the issues you are having. May be time to upgrade your rig or at least run MemTest.
I have the same issue with turning it off: almost all opponents will still build those expensive Towers. I usually turn the option off because it forces my hand, like the OP describes. Not because it's earlier or easier for me than other victories. Conquest/ Alliance victory is usually easyiest for me, followed by Quest.
I agree the SoM is too easily attained, but those "expensive towers" grant you some prett
Now, if you want to complain about something in LH, complain about the diplomacy system. That is the single biggest disappointment in the Elemental games IMO.
Yes, it is. Any chance you can fix it? I know you have the ability because I own GalCiv 2. It just boggles my mind how a LH faction can go from neutral to hating my faction, to liking my faction within a 15 turn span, without actually communicat
I disagree with a lot of what the OP said. I think LH is an much better game than FE, despite its flaws. I do wish they had at least another month to work on bug fixes, balancing and AI however.
I agree. I do miss the Dynasty system & dual build / train system from the earlier games, and I wish they'd do *something* with all that water just sitting around, but in my opinion FH is much more *fun* than
A Tarthian Beastmaster Earth Adept with the two points of mana per season trait?
I'm not sure if this is a bug or not, but when you upgrade Iron Golems you can get more than one golem per unit. Things get pretty ridiculous when you are walking around with an army of 36 iron golems.
I'm seeing almost every single item in your list on my current play through.
Yeah, auto-explore doesn't work for me either. Seems to break after a unit that is using it gets killed, but I can't be sure. All I know is that after playing a while, if I set a unit with movement left to auto-explore they will just sit there.
Just wanted to post these up here for any modders or if the guys at Stardock liked them. Some ideas (most taken from MoM & tweaked) Agile I-V - +2 DEX per rank. OR +1 DEX per character level. Arcanist I-V - +2 INT per rank OR +1 INT per character level. +1 Arcane Research per rank (or character level?) when stationed in cities. Archivist I-V - +2 INT per rank OR +1 INT per character level. +1 Tech Research per ra
I'm calling all this FE and crap vaporware until I see it. VAPORWARE
Silliness.
Agreed. Also, is there a mod that fixes this in E:WoM?
I have a handful of saves, all for the same sandbox game, that refuse to load. The game acts like it is loading, but never leaves the loadhint screen. I have left it up for about an hour just to make sure. I can still start games normally. I'm playing on a large custom map generated with Elementerra2 & I'm running two mods, Updated Weapons 1.51 & Murtea's Grimoire v0.33. Debug zipfile - None generated when loading, but he
I have a ton of traits I'd like to see implemented. I can only submit one?
No worse than the mouthbreathers who started an underground campaign to lowball the game, most of them before they even played or pirated it.
Well according to a very good friend of mine that loved DA:O & went out & bought DA2 on release day, the mouthbreathers were right. And *his* review means more to me than all the gaming websites & magazines in the world.
Age of Wonders I/II/SM are supposedly coming to steam next week (I will be buying, hopefully they do a bundle deal for all versions)
Gog also has the AoW series available.
Yeah the campaign is a horrible intro to the sandbox game. It gives you a little flavor for the setting, but that's about it.
I am finding it annoying when I cast Imbune that I cannot select which character.
I agree, this is aggravating to no end.
Yeah, I can't really agree with most of your post. I haven't been playing long, but even on easy the game is a challenge for me & there always seems to be more to do than I have units to do it with.
I'm just curious if I'm the only one who'd like to actually see the tactical battles play out when you auto-battled them. Cause I'd really like that.
http://pastebin.com/fr0vMT6K I just started this game, about 13 turns in, haven't really done anything but build a farm, a hut & a couple of workshops.
