actually you may consider reducing your paging file slightly so that your computer uses your RAM more often instead of the paging file. RAM is much much faster than anything coming from the hard disk, so you want to use it as much as possible. and since your physical memory is usually only half-used, you're safe reducing the paging file. i have 1GB of memory in my inspiron 9100, and i have my page file also set at 1GB. you may even consider turning

yes wimpy, they released wb5 beta 1b last night which fixes MANY of the issues with reverting to windows classic. oh and by the way you probably didn't have to do a system restore. you could have used stardock central to uninstall windowblinds 5 and reinstall wb 4.6. betas are not for internal testers. it is released to find more bugs, narrow down the causes, and fix them quicker. stardock can only test windowblinds on a small variety of

yeah it's funny when people complain about bugs in betas, no matter how many there are. betas exist to test things in much more broad situations, like the huge variety of pc's we're all running windowblinds on whereas stardock's testing team can only have a certain variety of hardware/software combinations. long story short, they released it to find these bugs, narrow down the factors that cause them, and fix them. so by downloading this

winamp IS the program... copperdeck II is the skin. you go to winamp.com and download the program. then you go to the skins section of the site to find what you're looking for style-wise. most skins download as a wsz file and you just double click on it to install it into winamp. and as werewolf said, if it downloads as a .zip file just change the extension to .wsz. simple stuff really... i've used winamp for as long as i can remember,

kona, the topic of heat was introduced in the context of laptops, machines that inherently sacrifice performance for size. hence, having a laptop consistently run hotter will drastically reduce the life of the unit. i've got a gaming laptop, so i do require high performance, but at the cost of heat? i don't think so!
Richard, It sounds like you're thinking that the other computers are somehow "behind/below" your "main" computer in some sort of heirarchy. If you use a router to split your broadband connection, each computer is going to access the internet separately from each other computer, thus you need to individually protect each machine.
