I have an old laptop that I use on the outside. It won't run TPM 2008, but it should be able to run the original Political Machine...if only I could buy it. No links to it on Impulse's store. Anyone know where I can purchase it?

Why was this steaming pile of shit released in this condition? This game was nowhere near ready to see the light of day, sorry. Thank GOD a friend of mine bought it and warned me before I did.
I know there was a way to do this involving a file in the original 2004 game so that you could unlock the candidates without having to go through the campaign. Anyone remember what it was?
Why in the name of God would they remove something like that?
Maybe I'm remembering wrong--it's been a couple of weeks since I played TPM 2008--or maybe I'm remembering something from the original version, but... I could have sworn the Quick Play setup screen had more options--you could specify the state of the economy, national unrest, etc. for your scenario. After updating to 1.5 I can't find this anywhere. If I'm just having a senior moment, sorry--but could someone tell me where I can find these options now post-1.5? &n
Patience? Patience was at 930...maybe 10am. It's now 11:22 am. When do you people bother to answer a phone?
If sales would deign to answer their phone I would have handled it that way. It's now just past 11am. Sales has not answered the phone ONCE since 9am.
They could deign to have ONE person who actually answers a phone. If they don't, why the hell do they bother to take calls at all? That one person could be on other calls, helping other clients. Based on your initial post, the foul-up doesn't appear to have originated from Stardock. Blaming them seems a bit out-of-scope. Having said that . . I've never known a company that goes to greater effort to work with clients who are interested in resolving problems.
<b
I don't care about them being a small company. They could deign to have ONE person who actually answers a phone. If they don't, why the hell do they bother to take calls at all? I don't appreciate a company charging my wife three times for something she purchased once. I've bought a lot of Stardock games and stuff. If I can't even get through to someone on the phone to discuss a matter when it's STARDOCK's foulup, I can guarantee this'll be the last time.
My wife purchased TPM 2008 as a gift for me yesterday. She screwed up the address portion of the purchasers info twice and the order was rejected twice, and on the third time the purchase went through. When she checked her credit card, she had been charged for THREE purchases, even though she had only purchased the game once. She sent an email to Stardock sales about this, and they referred the matter to TECHNICAL SUPPORT. I've been trying to reach Stardock sales since
I've got the AMD Dual-Core graphics issues--X2 3800+, with a 512MB GeForce 7600GS video card. Without the dual-core optimizer, I get the graphics issues...but with the dual-core optimizer, my system hangs at shut-down and I literally have to pull the plug to turn it off! HELP!
