The research screen can have issues with all the research topics getting hidden. Basically, at the start of the game, Choose Warfare, then click and drag Civ on top of the slot. Warfare will usually return to the top of the screen. Click and drag warfare back down again. Civ may pop back to the top. Repeat once or twice and when you try to drag warfare down again and it will (usually) disappear. Civ will still be in the slot but, warfare is missing. D

Just had music and black screen after an alt-tab. Had to kill the process via task manager to get back out. Intel Core 2 Duo 2.16 Vista 64 Bit ATI Radeon HD 4600 series card. Driver version 8.632.0.0

My roads for 3 cities kept going to the North East. I tried building a road from city A to B and after a bit, noticed it toward the NE and past the sight of both cities. Then I tried to build from B to A a few turns later. Again to the NE and out of sight. Finally, I built Mining town C and it also went in the Same NE direction.

I like the ideas on this. I was going to suggest something similar. Basically, make the dungeons rich in Shards. The reason that they are usually infested with monsters is due to magical radiation. Supreme Kudos if you can make the monsters and dungeons reflect the shards they hold. I thought about asking for a race of Insectile or reptillian monsters that would spawn a nest in the middle of the wilds. They would create weak raiding parties hunting
