When you construct buildings like huts, workshop etc, it will take x num of seasons. How do I speed the construction up? How do I reduce the num of seasons? Do I need to research any tech?

Gal Civ 2 has an option to turn off automatic unit design. Elemental should have that too.
I agree most ppl do not read the manual. But I actually did read the manual before starting my first game... Can I say I was disappointed... [e digicons]:'([/e]
Is it going to be implemented in v1.1? or will this option be removed in the manual. Either option has to happen, or not Stardock can be sued for misrepresentation [e digicons]:D[/e]
Same here.. Cant complete this mission. And I have posted in this thread. https://forums.elementalgame.com/398294
I cant complete this mission either. I have more than 25 crystal.. Sent a caravan to the city I'm suppose to harvest the crystal for.. And still nothing happens.
Hmmm.. Seems that the manual team and the developers are not communicating?
In the manual, it says I can choose the various land mass (continents, islands, etc). But in the 'create new game' screen, I can't see the options to choose land mass. The 'create new game' screen also shows that I can load a custom map. Currently there are 3 custom maps but when i click load, I cant see anything happening. How do I know the map is loaded? Does it mean when i load a custom map, the map is not randomly generated anymore? what if I loaded a custom map and
1) The cities screen did remove one major item from the list I intended to write, but if I can ask for one tiny improvement: clicking on the city name should zoom in on it.
I agree with this. Gal Civ 2 has this system and I feel this should be implemented in Elemental. Sorrie for double entry cause i'm not sure how to use quote.

That is fantastic! Can we have a tech tree that gives an overview like in Gal Civ 2?
I purchased Elemental without even thinking of the bad reviews. I have faith in you and your company's culture, and your track record with your previous games (GalCiv, etc) Keep up the good work!
I just checked the in-game hiergamenon. All the techs are arranged in alphabetical order, which means it difficult to read. It should be arranged exactly like the tech tree. In addition, in order to read what does the tech do (what improvements, leads to what, etc), I have to click the tech which brings me to another page. It will be good to have these information lay out infront of you, just like the hiergamenon on the elemental website, for easy reading. With an overview,
Tks for the info.. Didnt know it was in there.. But I agree with GaelicVigil that it'll be good to the the in-game tech tree displayed like in Gal Civ 2.
I think the in-game researching screen does not provide enough details on the particular tech we are researching. For example, if I research X, it will give be improvement Y, which would improve Z. However, the hiergamenon on the Elemental website provides these details. Hence, I think it will be good to have the hiergamenon on tech trees implemented into the in-game research screen.

So influence does not do anything but determines the size of the ring around your city? I do know that the AI cannot step into your ring unless there is a mutual agreement. Seems to me that everyone learns the game mechanics through trial and error. There should be a proper explanation or game tutorial.
Can't seem to find it anywhere in the forums so I thought I'll ask.. How does a city's influence ring increase in size? It does not seem to increase proportionally to a city's level as the influence ring grows bigger without even reaching the next city level.
I just got back from a long overseas business trip and have been reading Elemental's forum even while I was away. After everything that was said and done till this point, I just want to let the Stardock know that I have just purchased Elemental and waiting for it to download now, based on the fact that you guys had created and supported your past games, such as Gal Civ 2, so well that I'm putting my trust and faith that Stardock would make Elemental the best fantasy RPG TBS yet, throu
