Thanks for continuing to support this. I agree with Karavox, this is the best 4X game since MoM!

Anyone there at Stardock still reading these posts? Are there plans to fix that beta patch and finalize it?
I have the same problem; I also get multiple arenas, which I thought was the root of the problem, but maybe not. I've also gotten CTD errors on a generic cave quest marker. I enter, fight some wolves, then bam!, flushed to the desktop with no record in the error log. The only trace I'm finding is in the Application event log: Faulting application name: LegendaryHeroes.exe, version: 2.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x5a4d31df Faulting module name: MSVCR80.dll, version: 8.0.5072
Thanks, Stardock, for still supporting this fantastic game. You really got the 4x thing right with this. But I'm still seeing some bothersome bugs. I have a vanilla, unmodified, reinstalled version. I opted into the latest beta, but saw these bugs before then: * The Arena quest is appearing multiple times on the map. It crashes before I can gather rewards from it; this is a reliable, reproducible crash and I've had two consecutive games with the Arena appearing twice. * Wander
I have two things that are more bug fixes than gameplay changes: * Don't allow enemy units to stack on each other. Moving through each other is all right, but when they stop and stack two archers on one square (for instance) it makes it difficult to target units -- and it's clearly a bug. * I've had a few city map battles where archers or mages have moved into the buildings, beyond the reach of troops. A fix for that would be just gran
Fantastic! Keep it coming.
I didn't say it wasn't broken. In fact, I did. I also didn't say it wasn't impossible to implement it well. All good features start out as "cool" ideas. Some fail, some succeed -- mostly because of improper implementation.
To harken back to Master of Magic, I'd like to see either LH or a rebuilt WoM with an option to create magic items. I'd also like an expanded tech tree, maybe breaking some of the grouped advances broken out into their own branches. The research in LH ends up being blah because it dries up long before the game ends -- for me, anyway. I enjoy the exploration aspect, so I don't enjoy making the game as short as possible by going for the quick win. With MoM, ma
I'm all for it if the game can be given the great depth and "just one more turn" feel that FE and LH have. I own the deluxe version of War of Magic and it never really grabbed me. I was among those who were terribly disappointed in the purchase, but the formula was perfected with LH. I absolutely love the game. A total overhaul of War of Magic would be quite an undertaking, but I'm intrigued.
It's a small bug, but the Grave Elemental's description in the summoning spell is non-existent. Please download the picture in the link to see what I mean. https://www.mediafire.com/?d77latdbpmdyuhc
Restarted a few times. It still crashes after 50 or so turns. I reload the save and the crash happens in the same place. Only one time out of the last three attempts did the crash not happen on a reload. very puzzling.
not crashing for me btw. I turned on the cheat mode and set to auto turn. Took a shower. Came back and it was still processi
Of course. It's crashed for me three times in a row, why would it work for anyone else? [e digicons][/e] I can't progress on the game, so I'll just start it over. Thanks for trying.
OK, Illauna. Follow the link: http://www.mediafire.com/folder/umhs9p96t48hh/FE_Crash
I'm also having crashes with 1.4 + Dead add-on. This is a new game, not loading an old one. Video drivers were just updated directly from the nVidia four days ago. FE was completely stable before 1.4 + Dead. I have a save on the turn before the crash, which is consistent and repeatable.
