I'm in the US (Maryland) and have not received my copy yet. The Stardock store had a hiccup when I ordered it (the night before release day) so I requested (and received) confirmation from Stardock that it had shipped, but alas no tracking number for reassurance. I'll give it to the end of the week and then I whinge. :)
yeah he was apologizing for the pun, not saying it was a sorry game
To clear up the (unintentional) ambiguity, it should have read "elements (sorry)". Perhaps with a strategically placed emoticon. :)

Here's a post that best exemplifies my disappointment with the game and with Stardock: Elemental: From Beta 4 to Gold to Day 0 . It's a bemusing summary of why—in my opinion—the game was not ready for release. Obviously Stardock in its official capacity (having actually released the game) and an assortment of developers, fans, and other players disagree. :)

I don't belive USPS actually provides any tracking information for priority mail.
The USPS can provide tracking information for Priority Mail. I ordered the Elemental book from Amazon and they shipped it via USPS Priority Mail and sent me a tracking number—I just tracked it; it's out for delivery today so I should be getting it in an hour or so. It's an optional service

If you have no qualms playing a game that plays like an early beta,
I am waiting for the 2.01 Patch to play my already paid for limited edition pre-order copy. Which reminds me, and off-topic, when do I get the LE stuff? Has anyone gotten the LE goodies yet?
According to Stardock my LE box shipped today and I will have it in 3-5 business days (believe they shipped it via USPS). To the OP, if you

Stardock has been completely transparent with their release plans, including the Day 0 patch.
Are these release plans spelled out on the box sitting on a store shelf? Were they spelled out on the marketing email I received yesterday, which led me to the Elemental page and consequently to place my order for the LE box? (I'll give you hints; the answer ha

But I wouldn't mind some hand holding for the $60 I spent on this >.>
I pretty much resigned to the fact that my $90 (hey, I'm getting the book too!) is a long-term investment in what the game will be in a few months rather than what it is on launch day. I don't (yet) have a netbook, but it seems like some models (like the HP Mini with SD screen) display at 1024x576 resolution, so any effort to support netbook resolutions should look to support 1024x576 as well as 1024x600. Ten years ago I had a Sony Picturebook which sported a 1024x600 screen. We've come so far... ;)

Hitting [ESC] in the Tutorials screen (such as trying to stop the playback of a Tutorial video) renderes the interface unresponsive to mouse input. The cursor still moves, but no buttons can be selected. ALT-TABbing out and back into the game produces an empty display. Music if playing will continue in the background. The only thing that I've been able to do at this point is hit ALT-F4 to exit the program. I

I've just installed GalCiv2 on a Compaq laptop that has 1280x768 native resolution. I've had to disable AntiAliasing in the game in order to get videos such as the intro video to run smoothly, and to stop stuttering in the audio for the tutorial videos. (With AntiAliasing set to the default of 4, and at least 3 and 2 as well, the intro video would run in a very stop-start fashion, skipping many frames, playing a few briefly, and then stal
